  1. I'm doing a l28et swap, need these last two items to complete my swap (mbc, tank), Dont have a preference to autometer guages model, maybe phantom 2, or Ultralite 2, but I'm looking for speedo, tach, boost, fuel level, and water temp. I'm located in Vancouver, WA, my zip is 98661 for shipping.
  2. HELP!!! my 280zx throttle linkage arm (the one with the ball) and stopper dont fit over the 240sx tb shaft, is there linkage arm that does fit over the 240sx???
  3. and taking the gear from the 4 speed and putting into the 5speed wont mash or chew the gears right?
  4. so the speedo gear would have to match what rear end i have? cos this is going into a 73 240z w/ r180 rear end, would I need to use the speedo gear in my 4 speed then?
  5. this is the trans i have, not exact one in pic but same minus the "NMCA 28" on the side (my cam chord is broken so I cant take pics)
  6. I need the speedo gear from an '83 turbo 5spd, I dont think my transmission is a T-5 Borg Warner though, I think this is the exact one. here
  7. So I'm putting together a rebuilt L28et, I had the head (p90a, not sure if that's relevant, kinda new at this) milled down about .020" or less (I believe) and i have a fel-pro copper shim thats .020" thick. Now originally I was told to put this on top of the head gasket, but as I was reading the directions that came with the shim, it said to place it directly onto the block, and then place the head gasket on top of that. And also to apply a "sealant" onto either side of the shim. So which would it be: A: On top of the block and underneath the gasket (with sealant?), or; B: On top of the gasket and underneath the head? I've never used a shim before on a rebuild, nor have ever had to apply sealant onto the gasket, so I want to do this right, cos the next time I intend on taking this motor out is to put in a RB30 and preferabley not beforehand should this all go wrong. . . So any advice?
  8. i have for sale sleaves, camber plates, 14"springs and bump spacers, and most the hardware, anything else you would need you might have to buy elsewhere. . .
  9. Are you not trading for your t3/t04 anymore?
  10. I have no spark off the coil, and i replaced it, still nothing . . . help me!
  11. so far the long block, trans and fuel lines are all in. still need some studs for the turbo then I can bolt that and the intake up, gotta run the wiring harness and weld up the exhaust to the DP, for the most part thats it, and just waiting for my TB spacer and FMIC set up to come.

  12. Also the mysterious Black w/ yellow wire has a blade connector on the end of it if that helps. . .
  13. I feel dumb, they're like phantom wires that go nowhere, I have no spark. . . It is a yellow stripe, I thought it was a dirty white stripe, but it IS really yellow, thats whats throwing me off. . . it's a '73 BTW, in case the wiring is different
  14. These wires are the other end of those, they're already hooked into the ballast, and it's not a white stripe, it's a yellow one.
  15. ok, I've been told that one of these goes to tha ballast, and the other goes to the neg side of the dizzy, I already know that, THESE are the other ends of them.
  16. FSM as in Saturn and 3000gt FSM??
  17. I have 2 clipped wires here i can't trace(1 green; and 1 black w/ yellow stipe), nor reference in any of my available wiring diagrams, but one I believe goes to the dizzy, seeming how as i have no spark. They both come form the bundle of wiring that lead to the coolant temp sensor wires. Help! where do they go??
