  1. don't they get balanced with the motor when you take your motor in to get balanced?
  2. i have an 89 turbo ecu. so i need an wiring harness that has the 4pin o2 sensor.
  3. Not sure if 88 and 89 are any different but will take either if they both are the same. Need it for my Z31 ECU and MAF swap into my L28et. Zip Code: 98682 or 97060 whicever is cheapest. Thanks!
  4. Started out with a 31x12x3 core, the in/out were too wide for me to be able to put on 90o couplers so I had the endtanks changed a little. For the price not sure if it was worth it, but it holds all the pressure you can throw at it.
  5. would you be refering to this one? http://portland.craigslist.org/clc/cto/1881027284.html
  6. other worthy mentionables: http://pixelatedgeek.com/2009/02/10-geek-tramp-stamps/
  7. So I have an 83 L28et in my 240z, I've bypassed the Fuel Pump Relay Harness connection on the EFI harness and made an independant relay harness that is switched from the ignition switch. With that would I have to worry about making changes to the ECU harness if I'm staying with the 280zx Harness instead of going to the 300zx harness? Also I have an 89 300zx Turbo Auto Trans ECU. I've read through the thread however not sure if there will be any differences in wiring up the MAF. So far I THINK the only difference in wiring I saw at all is the O2 Sensor, which I'm not sure how I will wire up if it is a 3-4pin connector. Anyway if someone can provide some insight or deirection it would be greatly appreciated. My car simply will not run well with the AFM, regardless of what adjustment I make, so I'm "forced" to do this modification. It takes me 5 min to get up to freeway speeds in my Z and it sucks...
  8. are those 5"s in the front? and what material did you mount them to?
  9. Just had it made in the acrylic, the second set of holes from the top dont line up with the heater controls...
  10. Where can I find one of these for the turbo AFM?
  11. I like the clear or color transparant, with that idea i've thought about seq-shift lights, turn signal lights or other "lighting" behind the panel, but no ricer neons...
  12. quite possibly, do you have a pressure gauge to check the fuel pressure?
  13. So far this is the only way I can visually see something (aside from the audible noise) of whats occuring:
  14. Has anyone had these made for them, I was considering doing them in a plastic material, however a local cnc plastic cutter (probably the only one) can only do them in acrylic which I dont know how it would handle to heat, and can only cut them in 1/8" or less. An interesting thing however is he can do them in a variety of transperant acrylics, this could be for those who like clear computer towers possibly? Anyway I wanted to use some material other than metal or wood, which I think narrows it down to plastic. Any thoughts?
  15. Not sure if my testimonial is significant in contribution, but I have an Escort 9500 that has a GPS speedometer feature on it, and when used in a vehicle with a working speedometer it was fairly accurate until obviously going through tunnels where it loses the signal. But going up/down hills didn't seem to vary the speed accuracy. If this is all similar or same technology used in escort's radar detectors and SpeedHut's GPS speedo then I would think it would work fairly excellent.
  16. I'm going through a similar issue, I'm running a L28et in my 73 240z, and when first installed I had the stock turbo FPR feeding into a JSK fuel rail, running stock turbo injectors, and the fuel pressure gauge on my fuel rail was reading 24psi at idle and 30psi whil revving (dont have tach so i dont know at what rpm's). I was told this is too low of a setting, so I bought an adjustable FPR and set it to 35-40psi and it cuts out at what sounds like 4500-5000rpms... should I return the setting to 20psi???
  17. Anyone have a solution with this? I receive this error code on all computers I use: work, school, home, friend'd, and I also get this error code whenever I load up Chat...
  18. Love the wood-like trim jk Good mock up, what are you using for material? Aluminum, fiberglass, etc?
  19. Any updates on this topic? I'm interested in a 6speed as well. What about mazda's 6speed in the Miata and RX8?
