  1. Yes, I'm using the tokico spring/strut (blue) setup and actually the car just dropped about one inch.
  2. Same problem happened to me, I'm using the tokico lowering springs, sometimes I want to cut the front springs a little to see what happens but I don't want to make a mistake "trying to fix" the problem. here's with the tokicos

  5. According with the "Haynes automotive repair manual" the ID for the 75-78 280z 5 speed transmission is FS5W71B.
  6. Nice!!! I did the same to my stock wheels, I spent around 3 hours polishing each one of them, and still need more (before and after)

  14. Wow, I didn't know about the O2 sensor difference on the early and late S130 L28. How about the 75-78 S30? Are all those l28's the same, talking about smog?
  15. Thank you guys. I already order the air dam, we'll se what happens
  16. I was looking around MSA for a bre style air dam, but I notice that in the add they described the air dam as being one for only for the 240z and for the early 260z, can someone explain to me why it wouldn't fit my 280z? I'm going to use the front valance from my 280z and both turning light housing from a 260z into my 280z, but I don't remember if the 260z was an earlier or later model, thanks in advance.
  17. I think they're the same http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110400781941&viewitem=&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26its%3DI%26otn%3D2&category=140747
  18. I bought a set from the junkyard for $35 in good condition and sold them locally for $100 on craigslist. I didn't know that those tail light were so expensive.
  19. Hi guys, months ago I sold my L28e from my '78 280z, with the idea to swap it for another engine, but for some reasons I decided to quit with the project and go back with the L28e. Now I'm wondering if I should install the l28e from a 280zx and still pass smog test, from what I have read here in the forum the zx l28 has O2 sensor and a couple of other things, that's why I don't know if I should use the most resent model or if I should just keep the older l28, I hope someone can answer my question, thanks in advance.
  20. No problem, now for the hand brake you will need to remove the original clip bracket from the calipers and then weld the stock one from your Z as you can see in the other post, also you will need to cut and weld the brake steel bar for about 1" I dont exactly remember, but when you finish to install the cables to the calipers you will see how much you can cut out, because the brake cables will be a little bit longer this is the part that I'm talking about
