how about in front of the v8? you can mount the engine close to the firewall.. you can add a duct similar to what the "v-mount" cars are using.
the turbo would be in front of the engine.. lots of room!

you can rotate the compressor housing downward and route the piping under the engine.
few people on this forum routed the piping like that
I know if you have a rear or mid sump oil pan its easy to route.

Why is it that a Ferrari 512 motor.. a HORIZONTALLY OPPOSED 12 cylinder can sound identical to the Ferrari V8s and flat crank!?
I mean the Subaru WRX's have a flat four.. and sound like harleys! probably because of the LL RR firing order or something.
I guess this is also the design of the crankshaft as well?
Thinking about it.. I guess a Subaru and Porsche sound wicked different.. but the Porsche has a HO6 versus a HO4

LOL trust me I have been talking to my manager like crazy trying to find out more information
DRsideways good call on the flat configuration!
My manager mentioned it was a V12 layout.. so he probably mixed up the name of the Ferrari or the owner paid alot of money to get it done and didnt know what he was talking about
Either way I am a bit skeptical.. but if you are on this board show us pictures!! I want to see this!!!
