-
wow. thanks guys!
Im still a fan of EFI.. but now I know the argument!!
-
why oh why would people go carbs?!
im still confused by this.
If carbs were the way to go.. why is formula one and WRC and all major car manufacturers using EFI?!
-
wow oh wow
-
how much they run you shipped?
-
those are rotas?!?
they look just like panasports!!
how much did they cost if you dont mind me askin?
-
ohh thats sexy!
-
i kinda like it.

Im not taking it a bit hard. I agree its a cheap wheel. But the company should stand behind their product or at least offer a fix.
Maybe because ive worked retail during high school and college for the past 5 years.. like Home Depot.. and its just expected that a company stand behind their product.. or at least leave the customers satisfied.
A wheel is a wheel.. i dont really give a crap lol. Ill sport the no rivets and take some pics. Im just pissed at the management
-
keep in mind the thread title is "whos TURBO shoots flames"
any car can shoot flames. this is turbo specific =)
-
there are 24 rivets per wheel..
thats about 100 freaking stainless steel bolts and 100 taps I have to do because some company cant get their ♥♥♥♥ right.
I am NOT doing that.
-
Sportmax called me back
They cant do a damn thing.. all they said was sorry and good luck.
They get the wheels from Asia (somewhere) and have no source for the rivets
-
they are supposed to call me back shortly.. the sales manager at sportmax is sourcing them down.
I could do that... but why.. i paid money and in less than a year the wheels fall apart. I hope they send me some free ones
-
If the LSx series motor.. had an option for a flat plane crank..
i would be thrilled. now to call around and see who makes the cranks for em!
Group buy anyone? im sure hundreds would be interested in other forums and LSx groups
-
they are purely cosmetic..
so no issues.
Ill try calling Primax and see what they can do.
Superglue or not.. the plastic would melt and deform due to the heat of those brakes. thats my concern
-
I got what I paid for..
the PLASTIC yes plastic rivets on the wheels are falling off.
After an eventful day on the track and super heating my brakes.. the damn rivets melted and flew off the damn wheel.
I will get pics later.. but I am missing about.. ohh more than HALF of my rivets on the front wheels
Great for daily driving and drag racing..
but road racing or autox effs them up. great
-
omg man.
SUPERB work!
now when are you going to romp on that pedal?!
-
wow.. thats amazing
-
this is amazing

I sent you a message on myspace.
I am interested. very very

I am currently running Tokico Illumina 5-way adjustable struts on all four corners..
I noticed that the passenger rear sits lower than the drivers side rear with no one in the car. and on hard bumps the tire barely rubs the fender lip.
Now I am running Arizona Z car springs 205 front 225 rear and everything was installed about 2 years ago.
I also noticed that I kind of hear a HISS when its compressed fairly hard on a bump.
I went to the track last week and the car handles very very smoothly.. but I am just concerned why it sags to one side and the hiss on that strut only.
-
sweet!
either single plane crank or the 180 headers!
Wonder how the bad boy sounds?!
-
glad to see your ok Ted!
sorry to hear about the accident!
You go through more cars then I go through new underwear.. *erm wait.. that reminds me*
ughm.. anyway! thats a tough call! Z06 or BMW M series?! I say Z06 purely for one reason.. raw brutal horsepower.. in addition COST OF MAINTENACE!
BMW's will be hell on the wallet over the years and fixing parts, while Chevy's are cheap man!
-
wow impressive! no welding all rivets!
cool!
Gabe.. dont give up man..
Austin has me thinking.. oh crap.. my frame rails are toast on my 280z. *cough*
