  11. Do you still have that Square port Header for sale? If so will you ship it? I am in Vancouver Wa.

  12. From my understanding, 0mm offest on an 8" wide rim sits pretty close the the fender. so if the kit will push the wheels out .75"(19.05mm) you would want to get an 8" with like a +20mm offset or maybe like a 7" wide rim with a 0mm offset or something...might be close to the fender. someone please verify or correct me if I'm wrong
  13. if you don't mind driving down south, i have L28et and more! here are the links L28et, ecu, trans.etc intercooler and goodies
  14. I've got everything you need!!!!!! ill give you a PM
  15. Project has been sitting since the beginning of the year because of work and other really fun distractions lol but it's time to get back on it. Going to weld on the seat mounts and paint the inside this weekend...then on to the wiring, lights, dash, brake lines, fuel lines, engine, diff, glass and lastly interior! to sum it up, i still have about 80% of the project left! haha but till i get that running i have a new toy to keep me satisfied, 2007 BMW 550i - to much fun, 360hp, 360trq
  16. Once again, your car gave me motivation to get back on my project! looks freakin beautiful man
  17. I just love that look! do you think you could have went wider in the rears? or a more negative offset?
  18. i primed my polyurethane pieces and the primer showed signs of cracking after just a little flexing. i was a noob at painting so i guess i should have added some flew agent to the primer or just painted with the flex agent.
  19. when you section(shorten) the strut tube, the stock struts will not fit. The front Struts are a perfect fit for the Rear and the MR2 struts are short enough to fit the front strut tube. i don't remember exactly how much they were shortened but there is a write up somewhere on hybridZ. Sectioning(shortening) the strut tube and installing the shorter struts allows for more travel suspension travel when you lower your car. especially with coil-overs. Im not sure what gen MR2 but the model number is HZ3099 if you're going with Tokico HP. I bought mine from JohnC at Beta Motorsports. Great price and even better service. http://betamotorsports.com/products/products.php?cat=10 They are ground control coil over system with Black Magic coils. Here are some pics but the car is currently stripped down, fenders are cut out for ZG flares which are not mounted so this may not be a good example of height. let me know what you want to see and i will snap some pics for you tomorrow.
  20. yes sir! this is my first paint job too. yeah i knew it would be a huge regret is i got rid of the car...i think i am ogign to go work on it now! haha
  21. Back in business. here are some updates. Finished all Rust repair in the engine bay, trans bay and wheel wells. I pulled off the entire front suspension and had the car sitting on jack stands and shot both the bay and wheel wells at the same time. Shot the entire bay and wheel wells with POR15. Surprisingly it shot easily reduced NO MORE then 5%, the finish reminds me of powder coating and made rust repair so much easier. I used a scotch bright and wire wheel with most of the rust. Didn't have to worry about getting it to bare metal because this stuff sticks better to rust. Used a D/A on the rest of the bay. Took a wire wheel and brush to the wheels well. Prepped all of the metal and Sprayed! a few second video i found when i first brought it home after paint...this is Pre Color Sanding So Shinny!
  22. ohh yeah i forgot to mention that I recently swapped the spacer and now have the 2" up from and the 1.5" in the rear. clearance is much better on both sides. I followed Austins thread but have yet even drill the holes for the flares so when i do install them i will double check. thanks for the input!
  23. Hey Dice, I think I MIGHT have accomplished the flush "aggressive" look you were asking about in your last post and hopefully stayed functional at the same time. Guys, please don't kill me if it is not functional enough..... 17x9's, +20, 2" spacer/adapter with 235 tires in the rear and 17x8, +15, 1.5" spacer/adapter with 215. These tires come wider then most so i would say they are closer to 245 and 225 for the 215's. There is a slight stretch but I'm happy with it. I don't have recent pics of the "flushness" with it painted but i do have my cellphone pic's of my test fit when I was doing my bodywork. I am running coilovers at the lowest setting with sectioned struts. there is no engine in there so it is sitting a little high up front. Cheers, Rimal
  24. here are some pics of my setup....i believe i did everything right. sectioned(shortened) strut tube and welded sleeve. used front struts in rear and shorter MR2 struts in front. like stated above there is a very helpful sticky
