They should be 8 inches I had the opposite issue where my car was slammed at max. His solution was to send a threaded extension to add 2-3 inches. So for whatever reason you were shipped the updated rears for a 280z. Not sure what can be done to reduce height might wanna give him a call or email.

That's why I was asking if the height issue was just rear end related. The front coilovers don't look like they vary much but the rears are much different. s13 s14 As you can see the cartridge is much longer.

15x8.25 with 20mm spacers. I have ttt front and rear lcas to add track too

I've tracked megans for almost a year with no complaints. Budget coilovers are all the same you get what you pay for. As of right now they are good enough to set some decent times at the tracks I've been to and I'm happy with that.
