  5. Yes. And as for the body kit, the same thing happend to be with the rear fenders. When I was searching through all the s30 z body kits I picked out the pieces of each bodykit I looked at that I liked the best. And I looked at ALOT of bodykits. One thing is, I've always liked the msa type 3 airdam, from the time I first saw it to now, Still like it. When picking out a bodykit, one advice I have TAKE TIME IN CHOOSING. Make sure that is what you really want. If you keep thinking that the same kit combo looks good over a period of time, that is probably what you should go with. If you dont youll be wishing you did. That being said I am very pleased with how my car has turned out. The pictures dont do it justice. I had been planning the bodywork for over a year before it accually happend.
  6. It is accually probably quite easy, just have to do some cutting on rear mounting plate. But as said earlier the earlier style is "wanted". With the later style you have more options. Klearz.com offers the turn signal lens in clear,smoked or amber for the later style.
  7. I've done some research and I'm considering running wider wheel spacers. they can be had for 45$ a piece and would be a quick fix for the time being. Right now I have 1" wheel spacers, I was thinking about going to 2" or 2.5" wheel spacers... This should slide the stance of the car out alittle wider..

  13. Another setup would be 89.5mm race pistons Kameari L28 race conn. rods Kameari "3.2L" Crank w/ 85mm stroke And then just overbore the F54 3.5mm Might be safer to turbo?
  14. So you could bore and stroke a l28et put KA24 90.5mm bore pistons F54 block-overbore 4.5mm LD28 crank L24 rods You could get 3.2~L high compression 9:1 engine out of this setup? Run a large turbo and you should be set for some high hp numbers. (thats of course with some head porting, ITB's(Individual Throttle Bodies), larger injectors, haltech/aem/wolf ecu,... etc)
  15. Your right but I'm telling you there is alot of space! I'm thinking though, to be more economical, I should just get a little wider rim (like 9" or 10", its better than 7.5) with a lower offset. Weld? Fiberglass? No, all you have to do is just glass the metal headlight bucket with the fiberglass. About the bondo usage, There is accually very little bondo on this car. Mostly welds and glasswork.
  16. I've been looking at my rims alot litely, you guys probably are right about the width. I have spec'd a Front 285/30-18 tire on a 18x11 -40 offset rim Rear 335/30-18 tire on a 18x13 -40 offset rim I think that would fit nicely in there, only problem is it would cost $2,000 for tires and $1,700 for the rims. You guys think it would look good? (I'm just thinking outloud, not saying I'm going to accually do it)
  17. Through reading the thread linked I have come to the conclusion that it is purely cosmetic. The runners on the turbo intake may be 2-4% larger, but that isnt enough to account for anything. Also I might add, if I were to go with the n42 intake manifold, Wouldnt wrapping the exhaust manifold "keep the heat were it needs to be" and in turn be more effective than intake webbing?

  20. I have searched through different l28et setups to find out that quite a few of you have used the 1975 n42 intake manifold on your p90/f54 l28et's. Is there any advantages to switching to a n42? I say this because I have realized that I have both a 75' intake and a 83' intake. I can see that the runners being spaced apart on the n42 would provide better cooling, why did nissan change the intake design for the l28et? Are the advantages marginal to switch to the n42 and not really worth the time? Is it really just for looks?(as I've been told the valve cover "breather filter" accually is)

    Any dash swap will require modification. But the 240sx swap has been done numerous times.
