  1. Someones done some homework... That makes sense.
  2. I thought about going with green if I hadn't gone orange... This is the green I wouldve chosen...
  3. HID'S without projecters arent worthless... Installing a projector takes alot more work and planning then slapping in just the HID's. To be honest when the time comes I probably wont put the extra time into fitting a projector unless I have help with someone who knows what theyre doing and does it right the 1st time. Im not trying to argue, just saying HID's with projectors=Lots of work-Lots of Light HID's=Little work-Lots of Light
  4. Doing some final touches on my n42. Wow Ive spent over a month on this and there are still scratches... One thing I can say, NOTHING has been rushed...
  5. I would say its worth $1,500 MAYBE $2,000... It does seem pretty solid though... Some bad things about it would be the auto trans and the small amount of rust starting on the floor pans...
  6. A great feeling, Just drove the 260z with it's new exhaust and wow man does it feel good to have a turbo car. The turbosmart megasonic is so loud. I dont have to get into it to much for it to go off. The Apexi N1 is a really good muffler for those of you looking(I ended up going with this muffler). Its a straight through design, despite being a "tuner" muffler it has a very deep sound..
  7. The weather has been pretty terrible here in the past few weeks so I havent had much time to do anything...

  8. So with your ecu it has already been swapped to work with a 280zxt harness? So now I need a 300zxt CAS and MAF? Is there a difference in chopper wheel types throughout the years? Could I use a z31 CAS, M30 ecu, z32 MAF all on a 280zxt harness?
  9. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=145781 Lol. Need I say more?
  10. It will work but not sure if it's needed. Probably cheaper options out there for a stock 280z
  11. Even more justification to cut the kit off... Took her for a test drive today, hit a bridge and the wheel wells rubbed on the tires... Also brough it out in the sunlight doing some measuring only to figure out the driver side is flared out .5" more than the passenger in the rear.
  12. Now you just need to black out the window trim....
  13. Well there was nothing usefull at the new junk yard so when ever you have some free time to pull out one of the good motors, go for it. Take your time, I'm in no rush at all. Would you have any idea of how much it would cost to ship? My zip is 29072.

    Thanks,

P.S. It's kinda hard to pm you with your user name haveing those funky letters in it.

  14. Planned on taking it to a car show in May, But I dont think it's gonna happen...
  15. Cal z adds 3 inches YZ adds 3 inches Subtle z adds 1.5 inches
  16. That really does look nice... You say you have a subtle z kit on your car? Any pictures?
  17. How about this one http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=52690784
  18. Any directly rear shots of the subtle z kit?
  19. It seems like it would be cheaper and look better if I just went with the subtle z rear flares... for the cal z kit to look good I need wide rims and tires on the back, with the subtle z kit it wouldnt look AS bad with the rims I have. And as far as wide tires on a daily driver... You never keep tires forever and haveing to spend close to $800-$900 every so often ISNT appealing. As far as college goes, Yes I am planning on going to college but I am fortunate enough to have parents to pay for my bachelors degree. Parents wont put any money toward the z though, Thats all on me
  20. I guess whats getting me the most is the extra expense of getting such a wide rim and tire...
  21. The car in the link doesnt have a gnose. Nor is it a 280zx...
