But he doesn't get everything he needs plus he will have spend more money buying the harness, the ecu, a transmission(optional), swapping it etc, that's even if he's lucky enough to run into those parts for that much money you can do quite a bit of upgrades to the car itself or the engine. Really depends on the person if you got the money to buy it, seriously put a limit to certains things like that, why over pay for a motor almost 30 years old, really good motor but $1500 is too high for me. MY HELP TO YOU KEEP LOOKING & LEARN THE MOTOR SO THAT NO ONE SELLS YOU THERE JUNK, I LEARNED THE HARD WAY!!!

I bought an L28ET (turbo motor) for $150 bucks only the block and turbo both rebuild and a whole running 83 turbo 280zx for $700 you might as well buy an rb for that much. Only if it's got some good upgrades.

That's the good thing about the Internet you find almost everything but I got those other pics from here I like the set up Im accually planning the same set up, but Ima start the twin turbo set up first then the carb.

Lol wow I have a 280zx toy but looks different mines not a name brand.

Yes they reflect kinda weird but by having Hid's with projector beam they don't tend to spread the light well enough and end up only consentrating into one direct place instead of spread out, but every projector beam works different for instance my friends BMW X5 has projector and already had hid's but he changed the bulbs and the bulbs are not straight as you would imagine it to be in an H4 headlight there facing to the side and the reflexion goes a out of the projector. But you can either spend more wait it out I was gonna do that but for 100 bucks it way better than those cheap blue bulbs that my headlights came with I would put higher wattage but I don't want to burn my harness and these hid's don't they run like if they were normal bulbs. I'll be changing mine later on to projector when I find the right ones.

The first pic demenstrates it can be done with a 4 barrel carb and turbo set up the other two are a triple carb and turbo set up.

In my opinion it depends on what look your going for.

Did those cars in japan look like this S130.

Yeah I love the ZXR wing but there hard to find and the rip off version ain't exactly the same.

I bought the HID's off my friend for $100 just low beam but all you need to get if you don't have em is H4 headlights after that usually any aftermarket place has HID head lights but get the H4's they fit right in, mine are 55watt gas bulbs 8000k which is the color of the bulb also the brightness I chose white don't care for color ones, I still need to get a new alternater but they work really good. By buying new exhaust manifold stud kit will that stop the gasket from blowing I'm just trying to verify what a buddy of mine told me. Sorry if this thread is already up but I use a cell phone to search I don't have a computer.

Ok guys I'm sure you seen this car, but for those who haven't this car is the sh*t and probley one of the nicest and baddest 280zx's I've seen. fully built turbocharged 3.1 liter L-series engine that powers the car to high nine second ET's in the 0-400.

Yup the silver car is the only color that the 79 280zx-R came with 1000 or so were made in that year, the spoiler too.

My bad but I'm using a phone to type so sometimes I miss a few things to fix. I do have insurance but I'm not much of a street racer not many around here now that cops smacked hard on the streets, I like my car to feel strong and Handle good.

A member on here has a carbon fiber BRE spoiler and I want it.

I have HID's on my 280zx there H4 8000k 55 watt bulbs yeah projectors look good but they only focus in one spot I had bought aftermarket headlights awhile back and got tired of using high watt bulbs or colored ones so instead I bought the HID's for 100 bucks and there well spreaded on the road I can see everything now I recommed doing the relays so that your lights don't end up looking like strobe lights it's only when you have bad relays or weak battery even when you need a new altenador.

Congrats i love it great job on the after and before it looks like a whole new car, I also want to paint my car but the original color mine has rust on the rear of the car where the spare wheel goes if I open that compartment I can see the floor it sucks that's the worst part but the other is the driver side fender on the very bottom and I think it'd just the fender. My upgrades recommendations are a new clutch aftermarket I did a stage 2 spec clutch should have done a stage 3 made a big difference for me without even doing the flywheel but I do recommend it, also did the cold air intake lol does really nothing but better than stock, also did the msd blaster replaces your stock coil I can tell a small difference in responce and already had s really loud flowmaster exhaust I'm thinking of redoing soon from header all the way back if I don't do the Turbo swap soon, I was also thinking of doing that turbo on my non turbo I have 2 L28ET's one is a rebuild with rebuild turbo and the other is on my 83 turbo "donor car"
