Well I have updated pictures of the front end but for some reason I cannot post them? As soon as our site will allow me to upload them, I'll post them.

Would you be able to post some pictures showing a little more of the rear of the z? Your work looks top notch, I'm just curious how the lines will flow. Thanks Here are some pictures I can't push the car ahead without cleaning the shop.

Well today I put the foam on the front and tryed to shape it with a home made hot knife. That didn't work to well red hot wire and foam starts on fire to easy. Then tried to fill cracks with spray foam, another lesson learned not a very stiff foam and hard to sand. Next step bondo and shapping. Still haven't figured a good pattern for the bottom panel yet. still on google image looking through pictures.

That's what my wife said. but she also said she liked it better with the straight six.

Ya! I just remodled our kitchen, and it was left over. It takes forever to shape with a 40 grit long board but it is cheap. I hope that I can pull a couple facias from it before it distorts to much(deer country).

I am waiting for the foam to make it more shapely trying for ideas on the bottom section. here is where I got the Idea

My first car was a 1967 Datsun PL411, still wish I could find another one. started my love affair with Datsun/Nissan. still have my 78 280 after trading it for a brand new 95 200sx SE-R, and my wife finding it and buying it back for me on our anniversary four years later. Thank GOD for a good wife.

I found that when I called them they new what I wanted before I did. I think alot of people buy special wheels from them in the import market. The Guy I talked to asked; what suspension do I have, if I plan on running Flares, and tire size. He also made sure that I knew that you cannot balance these wheels on a standard hub mounted balancer, that you have to use a stud style balancer? Never balanced mine yet, haven't found anyone to do it. I am not planing on having it running any time soon. Unfortunatly

I had a set of 295 50 15 tires and thought they would look good on my 280Z. I ordered two, 15x10" diamond racing wheels with 4.75 back spacing. Now I need to get vg flares and two more wheels, what do you think? I need to trim a little on the front for hard turns, but not alot. I am thinking of selling the 12.5:1 race motor and tranny to finance finishing the car with the one that is in it so I can drive it. Decisions, decisions.

I have a WRX wagon and love it. Lots of after market parts and a lot cheaper than the r 32 to modify and get parts for. The chasis design is close to the same as the older subarus so they are easy to work on. Look at other subaru and vw forums and you will see that wrx is proven for reliability. The Audi is very very nice but look at the tsb and consumer reports and you will see they are not very reliable after 80,000 miles(electrical problems).

diamond racing wheels!

I have 15x10 with 295 50 15 and like them alot. Now I just need to get two more for the front. They fit well, but have to have flares since they stick out about 1 1/2 inches. -
Someone sent that video to me yeterday. My six year old daughter and I have watched it over and over. She said she wants to be able to drive like that. hehe any way two thumbs up from me. but I own a WRX so I may be prejudice.

The fastest and easiest is to get on carparts.com. Order a 2004r trans mission for $300.00, with convertor and low mileage. It is a direct swap, no trans mount mods, no driveshaft mods, and you get a .62 overdrive. You will have to get a new kick down cable (I know that's not what it is called on a 2004r and a 700r4 but I can't think of what it is called right now). It comes with a lower first gear for those burn out launches. overdrives.com has the cables.

Look at the price difference and the availability and you will see the .40 will be the better choice.

On duty I carry a Glock 22 and It is one of the best in natural pointing(if you are going to use it for self defense). It also carries 16 rounds. If you are going to use it for competition a kimber is the best auto i've used for accuracy. just my 2 cents.

15x10 295-50-15

Pusher I'm thinking i'm going to run yokohama avid s/t's your car is the one I've been looking for I saw it somewhere on a thread and I looked for a coupe hours yesterday to ask you what your wheel and tire combo are? looks like your running scl's in chrome. anyways your car is beautiful I hope mine comes out that nice. -
Ok I've searched and learned alot, but I need to see if this will work I want to get 4 15x10 Stock car lite wheels and put 295 50 15 on all 4 corners. I'm going to run coilovers all the way around 350lbs springs. and want zg flares I sorta want the tires to stick out of the flares a tiny bit. So the question is what back spacing will i need? I have the front and rearends out right now and can't measure it. any help or criticism would help. I read that you can have up to 5" of bs with coilovers but I think the tires might hit with that much bs. I actualy would like to do it with out flares but I don't know. thanks Josh
