Yeah sucks ! the race not going to be in San Felipe.I don't think I'm going now If I do go, I'm just going to tag along in the moterhome. No Toys this trip. Enjoy San Felipe, it should be a whole lot less crowded.I here people that are still going are cancelling reservations anyway and trying to get cheaper rooms once they get into town,since its not a race weekend anymore. The top teams with unlimited budgets have super nice prerunners. Herbst race budget is around 2 million a year,were talkin' 4 races. they have sick $ you ever see thier offshore cigarette team. That is were my idea is based. I live in the middle of Hwy 138, locals call it death Hwy.. could you imagine our roadways if everybody practiced this behaviour.

Prerunner originates from the idea of having a trunk thats built up,but not as built as your race truck. so the idea is you prerun the race course (between 200Mi to 1000mi ) while saving the race vehicle. Prerunner has become a more generic term that means "I enjoy breaking my truck in the desert".

ZR8ED your Z has always been a favorite of mine,neat to see it in action. I would like to see the video raw no music .It seems to me that there's more revs to be had or that your short shifting. I understand not wanting to break things just for a video(my Z is broken), but it seems kinda tame on camera. Please don't take that wrong, just curious if my ears are deceiving me.

I wish my City would do something like that,I wouldn't have a problem with it if thats the case.I first called the Sheriff to see where I stand legally, they said out of respect that it wasn't a tickitable offence and that they didn't want to get in the middle of it. I was refered to Code enforcement were the girl gave me a guilt trip. instead of answers.

I posted this on another site what do you think. Am I a bad person? I think these Roadside memorials are a form of littering.Thier everywhere it seems in my town( lots of illegals) . I want to rent a U-haul pickup and go around town cleaning this trash up! I've never lost a loved one in a traffic accident, but I didn't put a memorial in front of my old house were my grandfather died. I think there is a place for this, it's called the CEMETARY! Thats my rant and I'm stickin' to it.

I agree,I started on three wheelers then moved to quads. My first car was a 260z, it felt so natural to countersteer the first time I got it loose.

My resume is quite boring compared to most of you. I own/operate a carpet cleaning business.Father started it in 1981,I started after graduation in 1991, family run till 2004. now its just Me,Myself & I. I should've worked for the City ie. Firefighter,anything that provides a pension.I could have continued cleaning on the side. I'm sixteen years in.. if this was a Gov. Job I cound Retire by the time I reach 40. Don't get me wrong though, working for yourself definetly has its advantages.

Yea, I'm into offroad racing.I want to race a MDR or MORE event sometime this year. Also hoping to race a sportsman event at CORR they'll be at my local fairgrounds twice this year. I hope to be in san Felipe March 7th thru 11 having fun and pitting for #1612.

ME too except NO car seat... just sat on the floor under the hatch feet between the seats in a 76' vette. ahhh the 70's I also remember his 56' Vette I loved the grab handle above the glovebox.I would ask him to go down the "curvy road" everytime I got in.

I'll be there the 7th thru 11th. Probably won't have my bike, but I will have my prerunner. I think some of my friends will have thier bikes though, we might be interested in a ride on the 8th. at 1:47 & 2:37 do they flipover with pure G-force/enertia, if so that's cool,or is the rim digging in? Some of those crashes remind me of the need to have a working emergency brake. I hate when a car "pushes" in a turn.

I do sound like a Supertrapp cheerleader.They do seem restrictive. I should have finished my last post with "my two cents"

I love the look & sound of Supertrapp! plus thier smaller than most mufflers, they even have a weld in setup for ultra tight fit. I thought I was going to use Supertrapp, but ended up with Hooker Aerochamber. I wasn't sure about legality and the loudness/sound I love about them kept me away,on what I thought was going to be a daily driver. I might use them again someday, since I've bought a truck.

This car does not deserve to be in this thread. I don't know the seller but I'm happy this guy got top dollar for a nice resto/convo. I would rather spend $18,000.00 for the 240, than anywhere near the $4,800.00 asked for the 2+2 Backyard mold/rust bucket. like 80lt1 said maybe $48.00
