  1. That would be a fun race to watch. They have all kinds of classes that race in it.
  2. I'm not to sure if anyone is going to be flying to far forward as i'm going to have 5 points in my car. I more had the lip there to keep the sun off the gauge faces. If you guys don't think 5 points will keep someones face out of the dash then i will do something about it.
  3. So got most of the dash done today just need to make mounts for it to put it into the car. Here is a couple of pictures of it out of the car.
  4. If only they would hold the weight of the gauges.
  5. IGarvice: I'm still going to keep the heater in the car so that is the reason I'm wanting to make a full dash. That way it is some what covered up and out of the way.
  6. So I'm in the middle of making a dash out of Al and i made one up out of cardboard to see what it would look like. This is what i have so far.
  7. Yah just put a vented cap for when the pressure gets to great. And when its not it will just go to the vapor tank when it is cooler and not in use. Also if your out on a hot summer day you will most likly have to car out side. Here is a link of what i'm planning on doing to my tank http://picasaweb.google.com/rb240z/20070407FuelTankMod#
  8. 5thgenluder: To be honest i would say the the one i got is a very good casting. There is minor flaws in it and its not polished like Wizardblack is saying. WizardBlack: What is the name of the stuff you were talking about i'm not on the 240 fourms.
  9. I'm doig the same swap as you and i'm just useing the vapor tank for venting. I'm running the hose the comes of the filler neck and the two from the main tank. I'm getting the other two welded up. The one from the carbon canister and the small one that is coming of the top of the main tank
  10. So what happend to the build?
  11. So i would like to know what this wheel looks like on a z car. Can someone photoshop it for me so i can see what it looks like.
  12. So i can weld cast. I guess you learn something new everyday.
  13. I have a freddy intake for my rb25det however the part for the coolant comes off shown in the picture. Is there anyway i can get that to stay where it needs to be? I know i cant weld it because the IM is cast.
  14. So i got the right size socket, However the C arm just keeps falling out of the vice and i don't want to torque it down to much. So it looks like i will have to go with the cutting method.
  15. Ok I lied I will have to go get a new socket I don't have one big enough. By any chance do you know what size I will need?
  16. Ok so i got all the Rubber out and the metal tube on the inside. It looks like there is is a metal tube around the out side as well do i need to remove that too?
  17. So like the title says i need some help with removing the bushing in my front C Arm. Do i just kinda tap it out with my BFH?
  18. That's a bummer that the 280 is no longer with us. But hey that is a clean 240 you found yourself there. Good luck with 2.0!
  19. Don't forget to wire in an oil pressure switch incase you do have one of those crazy things happen and the pump just keeps pumping. That wouldn't be to fun to have happen.
  20. Yes the side with the terminals is the outlit. I would suggest just turning the pump around it most likely designed to flow in a certain direction.
  21. So the stock WG is only rated for around 5 psi?
  22. Thanks guys. I wasn't sure if i needed that or not. I looks like i will not be needing it.
  23. So this was mounted on the Power steering Fluid Res. and i can't Figure out what it is. I looked in the FSM on a PDF file and couldn't find it. Here is a picture of it.
