  1. For the 84 300zx rotors, are they off the turbo 300zx or the NA?
  2. Thank you VERY much 91iroc! I'll look into sourcing the parts and spacers. Thanks again!
  3. I didn't want to do this but after couple of days searching I couldn't find the answer. I'm close to purchasing silver mines stage 4 brake upgrade http://www.silverminemotors.com/Front-Big-Brake-Kit-stage-4-Front-Big-Brake-Kit-Stage-4.htm but i'm worried that the calipers won't fit under my 15inch Riken wheels. Now on http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php?showtopic=38499 JMortensen stated that the vented calipers fit under most 14inch wheels but during my days of research I came across a thread that said his vented calipers didn't fit under his 15inch rims (and for some reason I couldn't find the thread anymore ). Now i'm in the dilemma to order them or not. So has anyone fitted the vented calipers under some 15inch rims?
  4. Congrats man! Car looks AMAZING! After many years it must feel great seeing it out of the garage.

  7. As the title states, but this is not for me. Its for my friend that is looking for a 280zx or a 300zx, manual and that is in good working order and good condition, doesn't have to be in a brand new condition, just a decent looking zx. His price range is no higher then 2,300. Pm me if you know someone or you are selling one. thanks located in Garden Grove CA
  8. Love this head lights, I got HID's on mine but don't like the head light. Where did you buy those?
  9. Nice swap, keeping my attention on it. Can't wait to see it running... Good Luck!
  10. Sweet! Thanks for the confirmation Rags. Looks like i'm going to be ordering MR2 (AW11) tokico rear struts and 240z tokico front struts pretty soon.
  11. sorry for the late reply, ive been at school all day. so if im not mistaken, run these in the front http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tokico-HP-blue-shocks-85-86-Toyota-MR-2-AW11-Rear-Pair-/260927138488?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item3cc0782ab8 and run these in the rear http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOKICO-FRONT-BLUE-HP-SHOCKS-STRUTS-NISSAN-240Z-260Z-70-74-/280812106892?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item4161b4b48c (picture is clearly wrong)from there section the tubes.
  12. okay i honestly didn't want to bother by posting this. But as the title says, KYB sectioned struts on 72 240z. Has anyone sectioned their struts using KYB inserts. I bought GC coil overs and I wasn't going to section my struts but I've decided that i am, so i can avoid any problems. I've research my butt off and i know you have to cut your strut in half and remove some from the top piece but all i have found was people that have sectioned their struts using Tokico, Koni..ETC. I came across this post http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/80294-front-end-set-up/page__p__761833__hl__%2Bkyb+%2Bsectioned+%2Bstrut__fromsearch__1#entry761833 but it wasn't a write up on how he sectioned it. all he stated was that he sectioned 1 7/8 but on the other hand he has a 280z. So my question is.... has anyone done a write up on sectioned struts using KYB inserts on a 72 240z? Sorry for the bother.
  13. No video of this awesome build
  14. keeping a eye on your build. i want to see how it turns out looking with those works.
  15. why would you do that if you don't mind me asking?
  16. Heartbreaking! I was REALLY keeping my eye on your build since im looking forward to a rb25 swap in the future.I had plans also but FAFSA shot me down!
  17. some reasons why would be not engaging the clutch all the way, not shifting smoothly, or if the car is rolling then, cause the car isn't in a complete stop. you did state that you replaced the clutch cylinder, why did you? it can be that you didn't install it correctly. or simply your syncros are going bad. (not so sure if i spelled that correctly)
  18. How are they holding up with all the power coming from the rb?
  19. You pretty much had everything set. and nice weld, very clean. so since modern motorsports don't really exist anymore, where can i get those flanges? since im now going to run the 280z stub axle.
  20. Dang what happened to them and no my plans are simple, just a daily driver that i would take out to the track every now and then. so your saying that the 4 lugs can hold up just not the stub axle? Six shooter- that seems straight forward but yes what did you do for the rear?
  21. Now how hard would that conversion be if i wanted that on a 240z?
