  1. lol I had the same experience. You are on the right track, you will need to adjust your jet under the carbs. I started in all the way on both carbs, then backed out two full turns and tried that. Then it was just tuning by ear. You will be turning the big round thingy with the spring that the "pistons" come out of. lol
  2. It is from a 2008 Infinity G35 Coupe connected to a 6-2-1 header...it sounds mean! I put a ZX radiator on this weekend.....fits great! Thank you Skib!! It doesn't hang down too low... Oh yeah! Look at what I got from Zrac3r...Thanks Megan! This will replace my pass fender. That fender is the only body damage besides the typical rust on this car.
  3. Aaron?

Whatchya doing today? Skib and Zrac3r are coming over, RTz and his wife are here of course, just hangen talken Datsun, BBQ weiners, etc. If you're free can you come out and play?

  4. Hahaha...thanks for the title change Where I come from pics speak louder than words.
  5. I also get a reworked passenger fender from zrac3r...Thanks Megan! Here is my best attmpt at photoshop. Gives you the idea though.
  6. I finally decided on a color....cool vanilla. You all have seen it on GM cars It won't draw the cop's attention as much as my exhaust will. lol It will still look good with my yellow wheels and black trim will go nicely. This color will run me about 37.00 a quart.

  8. Better pics of the bodywork and primer work this weekend. I now think I should name this thing the ghost rider. Notice the rear fender where the rust used to be?
  9. tried my hand at a little fiberglass rear spoiler. It was kind hard to get the right angle...but I think I have figured out how this stuff works. lol Now for a front air dam!
  10. I said I was doing bodywork this weekend...well, here is after some serious sanding, de-rusting, Bondo Glass, and primer. That bondo glass dries really fast I had to re mix it several times because it would harden so fast. Not too bad for 4 hours work. I finish sanding and primer tomorrow. I will wait on the paint because I have a friend with a compressor and paint gun. I will do this car the right way....no spray can job this time. I like this car way too much.
  11. Here are the obligatory swap pictures.... See the pipe size difference?? Ready for install I learned a few things about puting these on...not as strait forward as the stock and getting to all of the bolts is alot of work. So I make her do it... Looks pretty good! I am not going to use the muffler...as you can see it makes the exhaust too low and it scrapes the ground. Oh well it sounds WAY better without it IMO. here is the video....
  12. Try this out..... http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=97787
