  1. I might have what you need. I will let you know tomorrow.
  2. Don't they know you are suppose to rotate the air in your tires every 50,000 miles?
  3. Nice work! Thank you for taking those pictures. Did you use a base and clear? Looks like it. I will be repainting my 240Z and now I have a good reference to look at for what to take off and such.
  4. Thanks! She was my baby for two years. I intend on making the 240Z even better. I am very happy with the way my exhaust sounds. I am seriously considering saving up for a L28e, or maybe even an L28et depending on resources I have available when I am ready.
  5. Ahh, there's your problem. You need to use FF. JK! I have the same problem and I am using IE6 and a very high speed ISP.
  6. Hahahaha...yeah, my wife was NOT impressed with the gas all over our parking space. I replaced it with 3/8" fuel line. My other lines are in good enough shape I did not need to replace them yet. It was the line that goes into the top on the tank from the bottom of the vapor separator tank.
  7. That is so funny, The first thing I did when i got my 240z home is pull off the front and rear bumpers with those silly looking brush guards on them off and pulled off the door dinger strips off each side. I prefer the clean mean look.
  8. Long story...I was going to paint the car yellow. I want to stiffen the rear suspention and lower the front just a bit. I can't go too low right now because of my exhaust.
  9. I fixed a leaky gas line from the vapor tank and replaced my pass fender in addition to changing the tires. lol I R Tired now! I discovered this leaky hose the last time I put gas into my 240z. I had never filled it up to the top before then. So here goes the process of dropping the tank and replacing the hose. Over all it went pretty smooth. Here is the passenger fender swap. The new fender waiting for install. The old fender before removal. Here we go........ You can see the rust on my old fender..... I also have a couple of other supprises under my sleeve thanks to Paul.
  10. Look here.... http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?p=1044396#post1044396
  11. OK, now before you say they are ugly yellow...remember I am going to paint them black. These are the wheels I got from Megan..(zrac3r) Thanks Megan!~! I picked up some nice n wide tires yesterday from BRAAP. He is a pretty cool guy! I used a manual Harbor Freight tire changer and did this myself last night. It has been 20 years since I last used a tire changer...it's just like riding a bike. Does this all seem familiar?? Remember my 620?? lol I now have 3 4 lug wheels with tire that have 80% tread on them and a matching set of 2 14x7 wheels with no tires. I am going to sell the wheels with tires for $30.00 and throw the 14x7 rims in free to someone who needs them. They are strait...I figured out what the problem was. My lug nuts were not the tapered type so my wheel was off center. Thanks to Paul for explaining that to me.
  12. Mine broke. I have parts for trade if interested. Let me know. Thanks!
  13. Looks real good! I like the flat black look myself.
  14. Very nice! Glad you got her running, you will like those round tops better than the flat tops I think. I know I noticed a difference in performance.
  15. Wow! Nice information! My eyes are crossed now though..lol Is there anyway to break up those steps so they are easier to follow? Example: Step1:...... Step2:..... and so on. Thanks!
  16. I like that one! Sounds like you had fun...don't stay in the Belview hospital too long
  17. I always use that copper gasket spray on the pan side and leave the block side dry so I have the option to remove the front cover later if I have to. I have had bad experiences with using any type of RTV other than the spray on the oil pan gasket.
  18. I learned this lesson too. You have to sort of "cock" the choke by setting the cables with the choke linkage slightly pulled, but not so much that it moves the jet down under the carbs. Play with it a little and you will see what I am talking about. You can set the choke so that you just have to pull slightly to activate the choke but it dissengages fully when you put the choke lever put in the warm position.
  19. I am not running a muffler at all. lol Just that little resonator in the center.
  20. Thanks man! This is what I started with.... I cut it here to get the bolt flange to mate to the header.... You can sort of see the layout next to the car.... With header.... You can see how it drops down way too low.... I had to shorten it up a bit and really push the exhaust piping over to the driveline channel. There is no interference with the drive train or suspension. Same exhaust as a 350Z if that helps.
