  1. So yesterday I decided to do a holeshot with my car in the street with a street tire and my modern motorsport axle decided to snap I'm half. Any recommendations on some stronger axles? Current setup was 300zx cv axles with the driveshaft shop shortened axles with modern motorsports stub axles and companion flanges. Just seeing what everyone else has had luck with there higher hp car. Mine makes 460 wheel horse power. Thanks!
  2. First time racing the car since I finished it, this event is the WannaGoFast 1/2 Mile Shootout. First run I ran a 153.1MPH and second run when 151.4MPH both times spinning through 1st gear on a 10.5" ET Street drag tire.   3. Ive had many problems with a similar setup. Check your throwout bearing and if bad replace with a lt-4 one much stronger, check your clutch fork pivot and clutch fork itself could be bent, also inspect your pressure place could have cracked or something along those lines. Your best bet is to pull the trans and inspect. it does suck but you gotta do what out gotta do. Had mine out 3 times in the last six months and i have to pull my motor to get mine out!
  4. Full roller motor, mahle forged Pistons, Eagle h beam rods and forged crank, custom grind cam, dart pro 1 heads, edelbrock super Victor intake, holley ultra 750cfm race carb, moroso road race oil pan, meziere electric water pump, custom long rube headers, ati harmonic damper.

  6. Looking for a rear wheel bearing spacer that goes between the inner and outer wheel bearings. Need them to be stamped B.

  9. I think I'm and idiot and forgot to put the spacer in now that I'm thinking about it. I may have misplaced it when I used the press to put them on and forgot to put it in.
  10. I'll take a look once I get home from work and measure them out.
  11. Any idea where i could get new spacers? think those are whats causing the problem.
  12. So I just re installed them they are still very tight when torqued to specs. Almost does not even turn. Starting to wonder if the axles or companion flanges were machined wrong.
  13. Yea definatly spent time packing them pretty well use the little container you push on to pack it and finished it off packing it in with my hand.
  14. Got on on order, gonna have it pressed in. Kind of weird that the passenger side one is fine.
  15. I'm pretty sure I hammered it on not pressed. I used penzoil wheel bearing grease.
  16. So recently got my car back on the road. After 70 miles of driving rear driver side wheel bearing gave out on the highway at about 70mph. I have modern motorsports stub axles and companion flanges all rear wheel bearings were replaced before car was back on the road, so they also only have 70 miles on them. This has got scratching my head the passenger side is fine torqued them to about 150 ft/lbs did notice when I put them together they did have some resistance but when the wheel was on it felt OK. Anyways here is a picture of the damage please let me know what you think caused it. I'm leaning towards the axle is squeezing it too tight and causing a lot of heat.
