Yeah, Friday and Sat evenings are no-nos. That's why I like Sunday. Who's not home Sunday night? Sunday 6 P.M. Pacific ending time seems to get the best time zone spread.

All good advice. Consider all factors, like time zones across the US and weekend bartime. I like ending on Sunday evening. I think sometimes too much info/huge auction listing can also turn some people off.

Thats surprising, I've heard good things about their stuff. Definitely get a hold of them. Companies are pretty aware of how an internet trashing can hurt business these days... That's just unacceptable quality

Why go through that hassle? 280z lights are fairly easy to come by, and the whole back panel is interchangeable. -
Isn't the XR3000 electronic conversion kind of redundant to install with a ZX electronic distributor? Am I missing something there?

That never gets old. People that haven't been there just don't get how close to the truth it really is. It's not a joke, but just put in terms a normal person can relate to... No John and Tony, I wasn't asking if there was some super duper widget. If there was, it would only be available in Japan anyway... I was curious if there was any special prep work or machining, like rocker profiling or lightening, some nutty valvespring design, etc -that sort of thing. Something beyond what all the Datsun books originally written in the 70's detail for race engine prep. 20-30 years is an eternity in the racing world.

Tony, please post that video! I need to hear an L near 10k. I don't think you've mentioned what valvetrain tricks done to run those revs. Hopefully it isn't a proprietary secret. If so, just pm details to me

Exactly. In the past couple of years since I found this site, it has become a daily stop. My own little zen place. I may not post much, I only chime in when attempting to bring something useful to the mix. It makes me sick to think there are people who feel the need to try to spoil that by harassing a friendly and helpful member. -And I'm sure the trolls are following this, getting their rocks off: Disappear, all of you.
