one of the locals has his 355 with 10:1 compression, Miniram, and an ATI Procharger with a 15psi pully but he says its only pushing 8-9 and hes also saying hes at 702hp at the flywheel.

Well carbed has lots of options if you want to put a hole in your hood :/ otherwise the whipple one would work good but its $$$$. Thats what I've gathered.

I've been looking into superchargers lately, I've got a Miniram2 setup right now but I'm tempted to go to carbed and supercharged insted. Anyone find a procharger yet that will fit fine with a SBC sitting in it?

well I bought my hybrid with the rear disk break thing done already. I'm not 100% positive of which one though :/. Could I just get the 5 lug hubs and swap out my rotors and be ok? Mike is that the z31 5 lug setup? Also how much did you pay for the diomand racing wheels as a set? I'm currently looking at a set of centerline 15x8's.

I'm very pissed at myself for missing out on the ebay wheels today and I'm looking for something thats actually wider then 7". I currently have the Modern motorsports coilovers installed on my car and I'm in desperate need of some decent sized wheels to put some decent sized tires on my car. Are there any affordable and safe setups out there? I'm looking at 350-500hp out of my setup. I have no idea what offset I can use with these. I really cant afford 500+ per wheel but I'd appreciate anyone posting what they have and where they got it.

how big of a tire can you fit on those 17's? I've got coil overs.

I saw these on ebay and was wondering if anyone has sat in them before. It sounds like they might actually be a decent seat just not a huge name. Anyone know if they would fit in the 240z? They're modeled after the Sparco Torenos so I'm guessing of those fit these will too.

I ended up buying Owens motor and tranny, its all installed and everything mounted up great. We started it and have been running it for a few days, I've noticed some popping and cracking noises and we just thought it was running really rich due to an exhaust leak. Not thinking much of it I drive it a day or 2. Well we fix the exhaust a bit still a tiny leak and there is still a fair amount of popping and such from the exhaust. Well we finaly get around to hooking up to the FAST system and notice my idle A/F ratio is about 16, as soon as I touch the gas it dips down and if I try to take off at all it will go down to 11.8ish. What do you guys think are all those pops and cracks I'm hearing actually detonation occuring or am I semi safe since it was happening at idle?

Once it gets less humid here I'm going to start putting on my rust bullet. I'll take some pictures and let you guys know what I think.

Zfan what compression ratio is your motor? I have a somewhat similar setup and I'm trying to guess what kind of power I'm going to get before she goes on the dyno.

I'm looking to get some new seats for my 240z and I"m trying to decide what to get. The Corbeaus seem to have a good price and quality to them as well as size. Have most people built brakets to make them fit or are there ones that work?

No I want the same ride height, so I'm 1.5" drop from stock right now and I want the same with a different suspension setup. Will this be safe with the illuminas and the Modern motor coil over kit?

Well I'm currently on a 1.5" drop with the current springs, I got the coil overs with the car so I figured if I'm going to replaced things I may as well get everything replaced. will I be able to go 1.5" down on the 240z illumina kit on ebay or no?

I'm about to buy some illuminas and I have this coil over kit http://www.modern-motorsports.com/catalog/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=&products_id=12 Do I have to section these struts or can I leave them be and install them like normal?
