  1. what his e-mail? so just the fronts ran you $700. WHat should I do in the rear. My entire brake system needs to be replaced with the exception of the master cylinder and the metal OEM brake lines.
  2. How bout a modern euro like style tail light with LEDS. I could design something if you'd like me too. I've got some ideas of what might look good.
  3. Afshin that is an awesome kit. Can you use the MSA stainless lines with those. Also did you need a kit to fit the caliper on?
  4. they are really sticky. as far as drifting goes you need some power to break'em loose. some of the stickiest tires next to yokohama es100's. They can hold over a G if i'm not mistaken
  5. If i do the four inch flares in the rear I think I could fit a 295 and up front I'd put either 235-245. I what it to look wide and powerful. Now to find a company who can make a 17" rim with seven spokes centerline with 4" of backspace all aluminum.
  6. I think if you had 4" of backspace and centerline wheel (o offset) you'd be fine if I'm not mistaken.
  7. the calipers he lists, are they four piston calipers? And can you get stainless brake lines for them and are they good with the OEM master cylinder. Would it be better if Ijust replaced the rears OEM put on performance pads ans stainless brake lines and then do the big brakes up front with all the goodies?
  8. 2+2s rule. That looks awesome bro. I've designed my own custom bodykit for my 280ZX 2+2. I t will accomadate the custom 4" flares someday. Its only real on paper up to now. I hope to make it real. DO you want me to post the pics of it?
  9. Is this price $309.95 plus shipping for all four adapters? Oh shoot now I think I could get some awesome brakes. Wilwood, Brembo, Stoptech, or something and some awesome awesome rotors. At this rate my brakes will costa as much as i originally paid for the car or more. A whooping $1200. Who cares, I'll love it. At least my car will be prepared for it's 650HP future.
  10. I don't know what to look for at jskinnovations. ModernMotorsports appears to only make kits for 1970-1978 Z's then the Z31,Z32,Z33.
  11. sweet someone with a 280ZX. You plan on doing the same things I want to do. I plan on doing brakes this summer. I'll have to check out modern motorsports like that one guy said. The only dif is my 280ZX is a 2+2. I plan on getting my car really low. probably like 4" off the ground for a low center of gravity. I'd like to do coilovers and then put 17" rims on the car. I dunno about you but I trying to create a Z suitable for drifting torture. Right now I have way too much body roll. I wanna have that car ride like a go cart literally. I want it to be stiff. I personally like the harsh ride, it's part of the experience I think. Back on the 17" rims in the front I'd like 8.5"-9.5" rims and the rear 10"-12"rims. Of course with those huge rims I have drawn up a design for four inch flares similar to that blue 240Z that is posted on this thread. I think it'd be awesome witha good bodykit. (custom that is). Sorry motorsport but your kits suck. I'm modernizing my Z. And its a 1979.
  12. Are there any big brake upgrades for the 280ZX. (12inch or> rotors , 4 piston calipers, and whatnot?) If not, how big are the performance rotors, diameter ways from motorsport auto? Also are there adjustable coilovers for the 280ZX. I know they make'em for the 240Z, 260Z, 280Z, Z31, Z32, 350Z. What about the 280ZX?
