  1. I bought it, but haven't gotten around to installing it yet...
  2. Perfect, thanks for the link! I will be getting the dash cover, glove box cover and hand brake cover as well!
  3. The seller replied saying if it looks the same it will fit. I'm going to do some more investigation...
  4. Yes, it does say that - and it may well be different. I sent the seller a question, so we'll see what they say.
  5. Found this on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLACK-LEATHER-CENTRE-CONSOLE-ARMREST-SKIN-COVERS-FITS-DATSUN-260Z-280Z-2-2-74-78-/351411917054?hash=item51d1c850fe:g:4~0AAOSw3xJVZt9c&vxp=mtr But it states for 260Z and 280Z (not 240Z). There is a write-up on the leather dash cover, but I don't see anything about this console cover. Anyone have any experience with this? What is the difference between a 260Z and a 240Z center console? The image looks the same as the console in my 240Z.
  6. Thanks for the write-up, I'm considering doing this upgrade as well. It looks like the have glove box covers too, which I think would be a good compliment for this. A console cover would be nice to, but it looks like they are limited to later models only.

  11. Just wanted to post a pic of my painted door panels. It takes a little extra work to get them paint ready, but I'm very happy with the results.
  12. Here is what she looks like now - I pretty much repainted everything again with a slightly different color because the blue was too purple and the flakes were too big.
  13. Yes, it looks great Bo! John Williams paints cars?
  14. Thanks Hans. I'm still working out some issues - but I'm really happy with the overall look and feel of the car.

  16. Thanks Vince. I actually painted in a thin lime green line between the blue and the silver, but it's hard to see in the pic's I posted. I am thinking of adding something to the wheels to bring it all together, maybe a thin lime green line aroung the perimeter.
  17. I spent a lot of time on the gaps and welded rod onto the leading edges of the doors to make them as tight as possible without interference when the door is opened and closed. The buckets are welded to the fenders, so I'm not too concerned about them cracking - I did this years ago before my last paint job without any signs of cracks so far.
  18. They followed up - they just weren't interested in having my car connected with their organization.
  19. Yes, I'm familiar with that car and their organization - and have even contacted them in the past about joining their Racing for Autism campaign with no luck.
  20. So I've been spending the last year or so working on a new makeover to my Z. I Made quite a few changes, and wanted to just make it look a lot better overall. I thought the primary focus was going to be the track, but my plans changed after I found out my daughter loves going to car shows with the Z. So the quality of the body is a little better now, and I made other changes such as shaving the door handles. I spent a ton of time with all the body gaps and the body line - and I think the time and effort has payed off. So what do you think so far?
