ok, then that helps. I'm going to have MSnS in the car in a few days, and hopefully I'll be trying out the stock knock sensor. I'm going to have a couple electircal engineers helpin me out on the install. If we are successful, I will post how we got the knock sensor to work.

Is there anythink needed to install this over the original MS? Has anyone connected the stock knock sensor to the system? What is necessary? Tim

actually, the car starts perfect, never misses, etc.. The grinding on the flywheel is from a couple of times when I've turned the key with the car on.. Other than that, it seems to start fine.

Well, I got the new clutch yesterday, so I took the old one off today. When the flywheel came off, my buddy and I noticed that two teeth, about 5 apart are 1/2 way chiped off, and most all the teeth are ground down on the clutch side. What are your suggestions? (I've never troubleshooted a flywheel before)

I have two engines, one is on my car right now, it has 143 compression in all cylinders and has 156,000 miles on it. The other engine was in a fire. Can I expect these both to be out of round and will have to bore? what options do you think i will have? edit: the engine that was in a fire started in front of a fire station.. the guys ran out to the car to put it out.. lasted about 2 min or less

I just talked to my good friend Louis Gigliotti (http://www.LGmotorsports.com) and he's advising towards the ACT clutch I've been thinking about. Apparently SDC is pretty far behind and geared more towards OEM replacement.

Anyone running one of these? Have any reviews of them?

I've been thinking about this too. I was also warned that you "shouldn't mess with years of nissan research" (stealthz and others). What are your views on this?

Well, after all my talk about clutches and injectors and fuel pumps, I've decided to rebuild the engine. I just need/want a strong bottom end for the car. I'm hoping to do it this summer with about a $1500 budget. So I've got a few Qs. 1. When I dismantle the block, what are the chances that the pistons will be out of round? (150,000 mile motor) The compression is right on at 7.4-7.5. SHould I be looking at new pistons? which ones? 2. Oil Pan: new? or have it tanked at the machine shop? Will rust be an issue? If i have it tanked, should I have it powder coated to prevent rust? How do you powder coat a pan.. outside only? 3. I'm thinking I'm going to play with StealthZ's idea and mill the head for compression.. good idea or bad? 4. Upgrade the oil pump? 5. the radiator has fins that just fall off towards the bottom.. fixable or replace? 6. Jet Hot the exhaust manifold? 7. other suggestions? I hope this isn't too much to ask.
