  1. How is it a touchy subject?
  2. I use LUK performance GOLD clutches. It holds GREAT in my Double Over Head Cam twin turbo car. Spins the tires in third at 70 MPH, with 245 45 17's.
  3. http://www.bandmzcars.com/headinfopage.html
  4. I have megasquirted cars for under 300.00, thats for everything. Harness is 65, MS1 V2.2 is 220, and solder, etc, works out to under 300.00. Max I have ever megasquirted a car was 500 for MS2 and wiring harness. BTW, I have megasquirted 10 vehicals now.
  5. Nice numbers, I looked at your page and your specs, looks like you built it right!
  6. An L series can have two cams, hehe. .
  7. For a force to be given, there has to be an equal and opposite force. You could have a 20 foot long 10mm hex, if it reads 100 foot lbs on the torque wrench then you have 100 foot lbs on the bolt. It may not get to that torque, BUT the yeild factor will have to be above the torque spec.
  8. The T5's are peices of junk, I have now when through two of them in 4 weeks in my car. I would recomend a sx trans over a T5 any day of the week.
  9. Straightening is pretty simple to do, straighten it, and surface the top and bottom and your good to go.
  10. I thought you said he had a z? LOL, jk.
  11. If he does things the RIGHT way, thats WAAAAAAAAAY cheap in my opinion. Over a grand in parts, and lots of labor. BUT most people dont check everything there supposed to, ie. bearing clearences, piston clearences, guide clearences, quench distance, piston to valve clearence, etc.
  12. What sort of applications would be good to get a 3 or 4 wire sensor from, preferably 3 wire?
  13. Yes there a different wall thickness compared to your generic oring. I will be getting some from mcmaster, BUT I always like to know what application I can get them off of, incase you need to fix one, and your ONLY by an auto store 1000 miles from home.
  14. You need to lube according to specs, BUT you NEED to always lube under the washer, under the head and on the threads. They did NOT loosen up from oiling them.
  15. Either your required fuel value was off, and you were either running too lean up top, or too rich down low. I mean you go from 71% to 100% fuel, from idle to high RPM load. I dont think your spark had anything to do with the head gasket letting loose. For a low compression NA motor that is not aggressive at all. I would think something mechancal related.
  16. NOw have the car at 18 PSI, Had it at 22 for a little bit, but backed it down for now. ALL pump gas, 91 octane, no water or meth yet. Breaks the tires loose in third occasionally, and every time in second. Its sure something when you roll into the throttle at 70 MPH, and the tires break loose! Just thought I would give a heads up.
  17. What seal kit off of what car would work for the 14mm orings, that slip on the injector and seal to the fuel rail? Possibly Mustang 5.0's? There aftermarket bocsh injectors, 685cc's, but I ripped one of the seals. I think RC injectors use the same thing. Any ideas?
  18. Just get venolia to make two or three custom pistons, send them a sample print.
  19. I would suspect that one wire is the sensing, one is ground and one is ignition hot. But how do I know which ones, and what is a 4 wire for?
  20. The bellhousings still need to be machined to accept the adapter? Ive built them in the past for other apps by using steel .25" thick, therefore bellhousing machining is not needed.
  21. Its more bragging rights when you beat someone with a 2+2 that has a coupe .
