There's a 240 interior kit for sale and I'd like to know if it'll fit my 260... I don't know if it's an early or late '74. So... once EvilC's question is answered, so is mine:mrgreen:

Hey guys I tried to search for an answer and didnt come up with anything. I want to know if all the int plastic from a late 260z will fit my 73 240z. I am guess it being the late model 260 that is would be close to the 280z, but thought I ask first before I buy this car. If it doesn't fit...the car will be heading to Ebay.

i'm there too. began after my crankshaft pulley ate itself during the 2005 convention auto-x last august and completed it this spring. have logged about 2600 miles since. did i mention that i was able to do a quick hi-speed run a few weeks ago-thought i had blown the engine when at 160mph it nearly died, white smoke in mirror then my passenger [evilc] said "oh yea, remember the pcm still has the factory set speed limiter-160". still pulling pretty well, around 4500 rpm in 6th gear...
Faster.....Faster!!!!!!!!!! LoL

damn 3000 for the whole car is a steal. You can probably make a lot of money back on the car too. I got an entire 2002 pullout with a t56 and computer/harness for $1900. But I got lucky.

the year makes a big difference in price, as does the manual.
LS1 prices jumped about a grand from the first of this year. They are becoming harder to get these days.
Really....I thought they were getting easier to get....or is just going down on price because the LS2 are becoming more available.

the dash on the red one has no cracks, look at the second picture, it has the dash cap taken off... The engines on both look like they've been sitting by salt water for awhile....
If you read it close....it says the dash cap has no cracks. Email the seller to make sure.

Dang - I guess I did ok with mine. It was $4,500 for the engine, tranny, harness, fans, etc. with only 3,500 miles on it. 98 Z28 LS1.
How long ago was that? That isn't bad at all for the mileage!

Well the ad says the dash cap isn't cracked not the dash itself. Be sure to check all the known spots for rust....don't want to buy to rust buckets.

I paid $6200 for my 02 Camaro with 34K. If you look at my old post you can find pics so you can compare damage. Does the car run and drive? Leather int? Get pics, so we can look and tell ya. If this guy is asking $3000 that means he will take $2700...lol Hope this helps.

240z V-8 Chevrolet. The trans is a 700R4 Overdrive with a 3000 stall converter. Great for Auto cross, drift, race, SCCA. equipped with a custom cage!!!!!

I was thinking with so many Z owners in this area, why isn't there a club? How many people would really like to be a part of something special to the area and unique. I have found out at my age of 22 the Z owner crowd is a lot different from the crowd of kids I know. Yes, a more mature group and more family feeling when we all get together. The hardest part is to start the club, anyone up to it?
Can we get this done for next summer? All these questions....need some answers.....Thanks guys
