  1. Here are two pics of my problem, this is the pasn side engine mount position. Any ideas?
  2. Yeah I will do that tomorrow if it does not rain. Thanks, hope I can do something with it.....if not it will become my donor to learn how to tear down and put back together....lol
  3. Did you move your hand while taking the pick to tease more or is the car that fast standing still! Looks good.
  4. Well do to the fact I do not need the motor, I guess anyone here wanna rebuild it? I'll make you a good price. Maybe cygnusx1 could use it in his car and get rid of that old dog he has!
  5. Cleaning the motor up today and found a crack in the block right by the pasn side engine mount. The intake I knew would have to be changed....so now what do I do with the motor? Part the motor out? 18k is still young miles for the motor. I do not want to junk it. Well atleast I can still sell the T56......
  6. I wonder if it is now lighter than a Z?! LoL Nice Vid.
  7. Yeah can't believe you didn't want to help me and used your cat to get out of it, some friend! Yeah it wasn't to bad though...and my Z will be on the road as soon as I am done with ALL MY WORK!! LoL Bryan I would just drop the k member and crossmember the easiest way. Make sure all your lines are disconnecte; undo the k member n crossmember then pull the struts and your done. Should just "fall right out". Have fun. Clive
  8. 1998 Trans Am with 18k!!!!!! Pull this one down in 2 nights because I had a lot of practice with the Camaro and 1tuffz made me work n learn the first time! Nothing wrong with that cause I got it done almost alone this time. EVERYTHING off this car is for sale! I was thinking about keeping the motor/tranny for another LS1 swap into a 260z but I think one car will be fine. So here are some pics of the tear down.....
  9. But I do have a 98 LS1/T56 18k I would get rid of. pm me if you wanna know about it.
  10. BUY A COMPLETE WRECKED CAR FOR THAT KIND OF CASH. unless you do not want to bother parting out a car. Just my .02
  11. We need to get you updated on your rap! LoL We will bring you the radio version....
  12. 0 because I pulled the motor out before I drove it...........LS1 coming soon!
  13. Are you not working? Instead you are online watching ls1 vids!
  14. That is the name of the song....rap music.
  15. Here is my first attempt at making something like video. Hope you all like it and feedback is welcome. I would really like to know what you think, but hey if you do not like it I know you will like the car in it anyway. So here it is: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/c29bc2b5-9bac-4c85-9b63-8db9b180e7b8.htm Clive
  16. I second that....you are a very very brave man! How long were you working on the car like that?
  17. Work...who works? LoL Cya tomorrow slacker.
  18. $250 was the price because he had to come pull them himself......which in the long run he couldn't do and needed some help from David aka 1tuffz.
  19. Dat240zg, be sure to hook up with your local Fbody clubs. It makes it much easier to get rid of the huge items and people are willing to pick up. Hope your part out goes well.
  20. Hey David... $10.19 a hp isn't bad! For the money spent and what you got out of it, is more than what you can ask for. Congrats on the numbers and it keeps me going n pushing to get my car done. So when are we gonna get to 400 rwhp! ....lol
  21. As of right now I have recovered $3000 of the $6200 spend on the 02' Camaro. I am still selling parts as we speak and should be able to get the other 3K within the next 4 weeks. I have enough parts left now that should cover it. Online sites have been a great way to selling these parts and Ebay is the best for getting the parts out there. In ever item I listed I had a line describing the Camaro and had contact info to get parts from me without me listing and saving money. Let me say this, yes it is a lot more work than just buying the motor n tranny but in the long run it pays off. As some of you may have read in 1tuffz post about his est $3500 LS1 swap, I would like to keep number some what near that. I know for sure I'll be a little higher beceause I am starting from a shell basically. An example of my part out goes: Leather int -> $600 Rear End -> $150 Radio Head Unit -> $122 Seat Belts -> $54 All Brakes -> $250 Center Console with shift boot -> $150 Carpet-> $75 Fender -> $100 Hatch struts -> $50 Shift Knob -> $22 Ttops-> $211 Ttop Shades -> $50 I still have the 2 doors....all the rims.....dash and so on! The little items adds up!!!!!! Just my thought.
