  4. Just wanted to see if anyone would like to take this off my hand. Made from fg and I know it is a g nose front bumper. I was tring to get the front air dam but the guy wouldn't give it up. Maybe I can try again.......how many different companies made g-nose conversions? Thanks, hope not to get blasted on this topic. I did search first but you guys know more than you type....lol. Thanks
  5. Hey I have my gas tank from the 2002 Z28 for sale. Maybe some of you guys doing the swap may want it...just let me know. Thanks Clive
  6. Yeah! I like the car honestly.......always loved flip up head lights.
  7. $6200 is the cost of my '02 z28 with 33k. I am giving myself 1.5 months to get it all back....I AM DONE WITH SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. I wish I could say the same thing.........I had way to much of it last semester!
  9. Well as you can see from the pic the car was wrecked but low mileage and in very good shape. The int was mint and the rest of the ext body parts that wasn't hit. Basically I started off by posting on LS1.com, LS1TECH.COM, and Rochesterfbodyclub.net because that is where the car is located. So if you are planning on doing this, it would be worth it to post on forums and local fbody clubs. Here you can get the most out of the sales before hitting ebay. I say that because with ebay comes fees and shipping which equals time. Make a list of the dealer asking price vs ebay price vs street price vs asking price. Sometimes parts sell for triple the cost on ebay because of a bidding war and other times you can just expect a certain price for a part to bring in. I am in a rush to sell these parts because the car is located 5 1/2 hours from my house, so this is the reason I am starting to hit ebay with parts. When I list parts, I put in the description that I am parting out a 2002 Camaro. Lots of emails with request of parts. If David 1TuffZ wants to chime in on the topic he can tell how his motor n tranny combo with fans and anything else he needed has cost him nothing and he parted out a 2001 Trans am ws6. I am a poor college student just trying to build a car, so I have to be creative and work smarter not harder. Plus you get to learn about another car as you tear it down. Clive
  10. Not in the pic.....still sitting in the 02 Camaro. Going to pull it out this weekend.
  11. Well guys as school comes to a end here in a few days. I wanted to share my car with you. As you already know I am in the process of doing a LS1 swap in my 73. Parting the Camaro out has been alil fun and I hope to have the money put out to purchase the car back within the next month or so. If you have the time this is def the way to do it. Ok the pics you see is about 2 weeks old, and when David aka 1TUFFZ came out to my school for the day. The silver car is mine of course, white Z is David's and the red is own by a local art student. So tell me what you think....
  12. 3 1973 Z's on my school campus.
  13. Evil Z....spin off from Evil C which is my name backwards Clive.
  14. I like the black set of wheels on the car. The grey and black looks really good. What size wheels are those?
  15. Why wouldn't it fly? Yes I am an engineering student. The Z was great project and the best 6 credits I ever earned in college!!!
  16. Like you said before...work smarter not harder! Thanks for coming out for the day.
  17. Hey all. As some of you may know I bought a 2002 Z28 as my donor for the LS1 swap. I am getting rid of lots of parts but wanted to see if anyone knew f-body guys or girls that may need parts before I throw the rest on ebay. 2002 z28 black wit 33k miles with grey leather int. I know we all have friends with "other" cars. Thanks for reading. Clive
  18. Get rid of the driver side vent and throw a gauge in there. You prob don't need a clock anyway. I had that done to mine and I will post better pics in my photo album. I know for sure 1tuffz has a pic of what it will look like. Hope this helps. Clive
  19. I can say this is the slowest/sluggish car I have ever been in. Let me quantify that though, I have been in stock Honda Accords, my old 4 door '86 corolla and even the NYC Public Bus!! Seriously, the car felt great and put a huge smile on my face! With david at the wheel giving me 1st...2nd....3rd gear pull-offs from the traffic lights was great. The car is very quite at idle but screams when you get on it. I loved the sound. I can't wait till I have my car done......and yes vids will be coming. Maybe this weekend since David is coming out to my school to help me with my Z. Clive
  20. I do not have pics yet, but will try and get some by next week.
  21. Yeah they are great. I just had mine welded on. Only thing is that my floor wasn't straight due to previous owners jacking it up on the floor...so the stockrails and the parts from John were not lining up. Fix that problem by heating the rails up with a torch and alil massage from a hammer to get them closer to stock rails to weld them on. I also got the jackplates and I think are a good investment also....
