  1. I'm afraid we didn't cross paths then. You still in?
  2. On a scale from 1 to 10 (1 being any guy with a ratchet and a screwdriver can do it and 10 being full-fledged ASE certified "I can build a car out of a watermelon" kind-of guy) how difficult is the RB26DETT install process? Just so you guys know I have read through most of the major RB26 threads but I just wanted the opinion of the guys who have done it. I have about four to six months (i hope) of body/brake/suspension work to do before I decide on an engine. Just window shopping. J. Soileau - I noticed you are in Louisiana also but 240Z Turbo (who is doing some of your work right?) is in Florida. Is that the nearest shop that does this kind of work? I haven't been able to find much else. Thanks, Tanner McGraw
  3. I am in the Guard in Louisiana. I still have two years left with the 527th engineering battalion. Even though I went to Afghanistan, I have all the respect in the world for what the boys in Iraq are dealing with. We didn't lose anybody in our whole battalion. A few accidents with landmines here and there, but nothing like what the soldiers in Iraq deal with on a daily basis. Keep em in your prayers. Zhadman, What did you fly? Tanner
  4. I live in Ruston, Louisiana. I have a 1978 280z. She is currently on a rotisserie and I am about to start the body work.
  5. I am pretty new to the site but I have had my Z for about four years now. I have just recently started a complete teardown to restore it and misery loves company, so... anyone in Louisiana out there?
  6. I spent eight months in Bagram, Afghanistan in 2003
  7. First, I am brand new to the site. I have had my 280Z for about three years now and I am now able to afford the hobby. So here I am. I coudn't find fender swapping mentioned elsewhere in this forum. Will the 240 z fenders fit a 280? Also, I did read on Classic Z that the doors will not swap. Is this true? Thanks, Tanner
  8. I am about to order the replacement rails from www.baddogparts.com/index.htm. They seem reputable- quick responses, etc. - but has anyone dealt with these guys before?
  9. I found these guys the other day. Looks like a good deal on framerails. www.baddogparts.com/index.htm
