yea i dont think i can use my hose ends with that hose.
-
holy chit that is about how many i had to buy from summit. does 80 dollars a foot for 20an seem right... the hell with that
-
is that kevlar braided a ptfe lined hose?
-
hmm interesting. thats 16an on yours though isnt it?
herre is how cramped my bay is, i still have alot more to stuff in..
note that 12 an fitting under the upper 20 radiator hose... cant get in the way of that
-
You can still use the fittings, just change the hose to a more pliable type.
mind linking it through summit racing ?
-
i ordered my radiator way back and went with 20 an... i was thinking they would use female threads but i should have specified i wanted female. then i could get miezere adapters if i needed too...
like this

My .02
With the engine vibration, and the radiator being secured to the rad support don't you think that might be a *tad* ridged? Seems like either your fittings or the bung on the radiator might have problems with fatigue with your setup... -AN fittings look great, but sometimes old fashioned rubber hose is better.
You could always use a regular hose with -AN style clamps and a braided sleeve, no flex issues that way.
oh i know i dont want to run what is pictured... haha i hate to cut out these 20 an bungs and 250 dollars worth of fittings

naturally they dont make 20 an push locks so i cant just buy a 90 degree rubber and 2 straights... that would have worked. rabble rabble rabble
-
ok, so i am trying to fit this god forsaken hose onto this this but it is fighting me in every attempt i make. 20 an hose...
i have a 45 and a straight which i can cut and reweld this bung on which might allow me to pick up another 1/4 of hose length here, but i dont think that will help much. This project has been kicking and screaming the entire route and its pissing me off. i cant even get a radiator hose to work. *sigh* just venting.

Buy a simple N5402 diode from Maplin or Radioshack as shown in the pic below:-
where is everyone getting this diode from i googled it but appears to be more of a uk thing.
doing some googling it looks to be a standard 3amp diode, Radioshack does have, but its not the N5402 part number... does that matter?
edit: if your radioshack says they dont carry that, go check yourself.
part number 2761143 its a 3amp 200v diode
$1.59 for you budget watchers

right but you still would have a bottleneck...
Run the 6 to 8 fitting on your regulater. It will work fine.
-
ahh, didnt see that one, maybe i was filtering by price
-
right but you still would have a bottleneck...

Hey guys, i am plumbing my fuel setup but i cant seem to find a fuel pressure regulator with anything bigger than a 6an return. i have 8an lines going to and from the tank, running to a surge tank and 2 walburo 255 high pressures in the surge tank (surge being fed with 1 255 hp) with 6an outlet on each fuel pump going to each end of the fuel rail. i would like to keep the 8an size out of the return but cant find one bigger than a 6an... any of you guys have one?
granted i have really only look at the aeromotive ones

did you figure this one out? i need to mount my temp and pressure sensors (mainly the pressure). i cant seem to figure out which is best for the pressure sensor.
BTW the oil pressure is 1/8 bspt
i am going to drill and tap my plugs for sensors. i got (2) 1/8 npt to 1/8 bspt from mcmaster for 5 bux each so i can keep everything 1/8 for when i upgrade my gauges.
