Only the R33 RB25det's have the bigger 2wd box.
Rob
thats what i was thinking too. is there an easy way to tell the difference without having them side by side?
-
good thing your down under cause obama might try to limit your max horsepower
-
guy its been awhile since i have researched this but isnt there a difference in the r32 rwd trans and the r33 rwd trans. wasnt the r33 beefier?

Hey, i am trying to finish up my front tube chassis. Currently i am at the TC buckets. my setup is almost exactly like yours. i have 2.5inch frame horns and have done what 74 5.0 and mortenson have done with the buckets, 2x4 tube and have slotted them as much as possible without the rod end hitting the tube itself. My question i guess is it seems that even with the tc rod mount in its lowest position it still will be slightly higher than the inner lower control rod bolt. Auto X probably isnt in this cars future but will this have a big affect or should i take a peace of 3/8 plate and weld that to the top of the box which would lower the tc bucket some.

make sure you wash it off with water after marine clean and after metal ready (etching). it will flash rust though
i sandblasted my car and it turned out good so far. i beat it with a hammer and it didnt come off ( schedule 40 front tube chassis)

hey guys has anyone moved their fill neck to behind the license plate. i might end up putting a fuel cell so it might not be a big deal, but if i leave in the stocker i would like to see your mods. want to shave that ugly door off.
-
yea was thinking about making them removable by welding triangles mounting tabs in the corners and drilling a mounting hole in those... but then i dont want it to rattle either...
my frame looks alot like this.. this is 74_5.0l_z car
