i dont think spray foam will hold up with oil to well.... Just my 2 cents though (guess i should say jk cause there are some retards out there)

Once we have new pans we will look at the engine mounts and make the nesessary adjustments. Orginal we designed for the ZR200 oil pan and the lowest possible mounting of the engine. Rips pan is a great pan but bigger in the front than the ZR pan. Hope to have first aluminum pan in 2 weeks.

i agree with mag, mckinney is working with a pro oil pan manufacturer developing an oil pan for rear sumps. sounds like it will be semi reasonably priced.

interesting pan work. is it really that simple with a plasma cutter?
-
on a side note, i was holding off buying that one cause i thought it might be r32, with the ps pump having a few lines and the oil cap being a star design instead of a blade. it does look like a yellow temp sensor too.

oh, mckinney is doing some cad worth with a oil pan company about a rear sump pan for this kind of swap. Last i heard they are waiting on the cad work to get back from the company which is supposed to be soon. they are expecting prototypes jan-feb. i have asked him if he would post a topic and post updates to it, so hopefully that will happen. they were going to try for a target price of 700-800 but im sure thats all realitive.
