  1. Holy crap! What if the warning light comes on but they keep going? (I'm curious ) Must've been a lot of $$$, what 1/4 times are they aiming for? Mario
  2. and you have a car..... a honda civic hatch back... with a slick body kit... lowered... rims... exhaust... racing seats.... two tone paint.... and a few other goodies. Oh yeah, and a cute asian girl sitting in your passengers seat. A car passes you, you get behind him and meet him at a stop light. You rev your engine, you here him load up his crappy oe torque converter at 2k rpms, light turns green.... Your wheel chirp. But whats this? The car next to you is now a car length in front. You give up at 65 mph because he is now several car lengths in front... What would a ricer do if he was beaten by me, a broke 17 yr old in a work shirt and messy hair: In a 23 year old car: With stock exhaust and boost? With the only mod being MSnS-Extra, which hasn't been even fully tuned yet. Man I'd kill myself after all that money I spent, and I still lost, in front of my girlfriend. Jeez... I never street race, but this guy was ticking me off (he was riding my bumper). He got what he deserved. Mario
  3. Awesome car! What did you order from MM? It only lists a 70-78 coilover package. Do they work on the ZX as well? Thanks, Mario
  4. Good info! Where do you plan on mounting it? Thanks for all you MSnS help, Mario
  5. It is all custom work. There are few people who have done it, one being slownrusty. His ZX sits very low and mean with his custom coilovers, he has a website with pics about them. If you've got the cash go for it, if not, why not get Tokico springs and shocks? 1" drop too. Mario
  6. Yes it is a business. It is usually handled by third parties, and they like to screw people over. Its happened to me on computer parts. Mario
  7. Wow! That'll be a rocket when its finished! Quality work! Mario
  8. Do you remember for what cost you got them for? I can only find an MSRP pricing guide and its higher then MSA. Thanks, Mario
  9. Availability must suck, considering it is a 7 person company (according to topgear). A Australian dealer I saw has the base model available to ship 26 weeks after you order it (67,800 New Zealand dollars, but half a year wait?). Still, that thing must be absolutely awesome to drive! Mario
  10. Looks cool! Do you have any sketches of what you want it to look like when its done? Mario
  11. Saw it a while ago on ZC.C. Some members even talked to the guy that did it on instant messenger. Mario
  12. Jeez! What a dumb a**! "Ohhh my leg....":twak: Mario
  13. The ones you showed me on ZC.C were not carried by Fry's in Phoenix. They only had the cement ones with no heatsink. (They seemed to be stocked low in this department, well at least when I went there) I am using the stock resistor pack from an early Z (thanks to 1 Fast Z). It was easy to wire in, and it works! Someone on here or ZC.C is using pulse width modulation, and I think he posted his setting for stock injectors. Mario
  14. It is fairly easy, you just need to reinput everything. The tuning software is very nice, and I like it more then the original MSnS setup. I had a problem with mine that it would default spark timing to -80 deg, but after I loaded another config file I had on it, the problem went away. With some rough tuning I was able to drive it to school today! I also want to rewire the stock knock sensor, and I plan on using it for boost control. Mario
  15. I have seen the picture of the cat by itself, so I second the fact that it is photoshopped. Mario
  16. Its also here: http://files.deviantart.com/f/2004/137/4/0/BigRedButton.swf Man, I went through all of it! Mario
  17. Wow! I don't know much about rotaries, but they've always interested me. Why do you need such big injectors? Is this engine for a Z? I take it is boosted, but how much PSI? Thanks, Mario
  18. Engine swap? Rotary maybe? That thing is fast! Mario

    hei

It seems that no one really knows if the Nissan module controls dwell or not. If you want to experiment, go ahead and try it. If it doesn't controll dwell, then you can choose to experiment farther and use MSnS-Extra which has an experimental feature to controll dwell. People are using the HEI module because they know it works. Good luck which ever way you decide to go, Mario
  20. Bet you can by hundreds of xB's if you had that kind of bank! j/k Mario
  21. I've only seen one Ferrari in my life, and it was on my way to California... Rarest car I have seen in town was an NSX two days ago. (couldn't believe my eyes) Mario
  22. For the pimp factor you should go with air bags IMHO Mario
  23. Holy crap, you are one lucky bastard.... Mario
