I am really hoping someone could shed some light on this logo. I have been searching for hours on end trying to figure out where it is from. I haven't seen that "R" used on any Nissan/Datsun vehicles. It looks really unique but has no concrete history that I could find. Some reports claim it to have been factory equipped on early C10 Hakosuka Skylines. Or that it was on Skylines that were sold under the Datsun name and not the Nissan one. Or a Datsun Compe steering wheel that was very commonly swapped onto C10 Skylines in the 70's. I've even seen it referred to as a Nissan/Prince logo. I don't know where the logo originated. Or if it was truly a Skyline logo, why it is an "R" and not the stand "S" logo. And the style of the "R" doesn't match any of the R's used in the branding of early GTRs. It is a logo that I cannot match to anything and have only found it on the center caps of Datsun competition steering wheels. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Would someone be so kind as to look for me and tell me which side the wiring comes out of for the steering wheel, left side of it or right side of it, that would be super helpful. I'm having trouble getting the reach I need and I think I installed incorrectly.

Is there a way to remove the center Z emblem from the horn pad nicely? I want to use it on my new Nardi, but I dont wanna ruin the wheel just to get the Z. I know how to remove horn pad from steering wheel, but after that I dont know if it the pad disassembles any further. Let me know asap, having conductor ring made to work with older wooden Nardi so that I can still have horn.

Hello, About a year ago, someone broke into my Z and trashed/stole a lot of the interior. I have a long way to go, but right now I am hunting down an OEM wooden steering wheel. If any of your are selling one, and you're not asking an arm/leg for it, PM me please. Thank you, Idiot Pic for reference

I'm gutting my 1972 240z for restoration. I removed the steering column without any hiccups. I removed the pinch bolt at the flexible coupling and now the shaft is stuck. The "shaft" at the flexible coupling pinch bolt won't come loose. I tapped it with a hammer and still nothing any tips or tricks to get this off? Is it ok to hit it with greater force? Its currently digesting some PB blast. Thanks, Paul
