I don't ever plan to drive it in the rain. I have the same concerns but those filters angle down about 30 degrees and the pipes run up hill 6" or so inches. I guess I'll find out if I ever get caught in a heavy rain. As for the rear sway right now I have no plans to add it. From what I've read they tend to make the ass want to slide out in sharp cornering. I have it, if I ever get to the point where I'm tracking the car alot then I may try it.

I run no rear bar and my z corners [both street & track] and can prompted to oversteer with the handy 'go pedal'. My filter, single on left side, has seen light to heavy rain. Only when on the track [Watkins Glen] in heavy rain, driving hard, have I ever noticed any problems. Moderate or light rain or simply highway driving in even heavy rain has not caused any problems. Z has rolled 17,000 miles since the LS1 swap in 2006.

Almost forgot, great looking z!

x2 there. I personally know what it takes to get there, well engine, chassis, drivetrain wise, I havent even got around to paint and interior yet (and wheels). I know it would be impossible if i was not single, so I have tried to make the best use of my time while I can. :P
