Richs72RBz
Has anyone figured out how to add an ebrake/parking brake to the wilwoods brake set up?
Nelsonian
I will refer you to this http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/106012-emergency-brake-for-wilwood-setup/page__p__991741__hl__wilwood__fromsearch__1#entry991741, but after looking at the last post it appears that Dave is not putting any attention to his set up. Richs72RBz
Yea I remember calling him last year and told me it should be ready beginning of the year. That came and went, was told summer but here we are still on square one.

Nelsonian
Thanks for reminding me to post the results from my conversation with Dave (AZCar) three weeks ago. It seems that Dave is not happy with one aspect of the rear parking brake (no indepth details were discussed)and said they were not ready for public consumption as he must find the time to correct what is wrong for a whole batch of these. He said he farmed out the work in somewhat of a hurry and the results are not to his standards or liking, and most unfortunately look like many months down the line before finding any time to dedicate to them. For what it's worth, I stressed how many of us with the wilwood brakes starting with myself, are more than eager to have a parking brake option finalized and ready for purchase. Any one else out there care to take a crack at making a parking brake kit that is sturdy?
ZT-R
why not just weld on ears and mount another independent hydro caliper? Odds of 2 failing, then it was just meant to be.
