wickiewicked240z
So I got this Intake with some triple weber carburetors I wanted to know if anyone knows what kind of brand these are. I googled pictures of it but could not find anything. Thanks Edited November 30, 2012 by wickiewicked240z
RebekahsZ
I got a very similar manifold with my dellortos, except that the three manifolds were separate without any connecting webs. Like yours, mine had no markings.
JMortensen
Looks like Mikuni to me. No crossover tube, 2 towers with teflon bushings rather than 3 rod ends for the linkage. Looks shorter than my old Cannon manifold. Try Todd @ WCR. He would know for sure.
Leon
My guess would be FET, but I don't know for sure. Looks a bit long for a Mikuni manifold, plus this one has separate flanges and a central connector which I don't see on the Mikuni. Measure the length and see if you can match it up: Triple carb intake length EDIT: Whoops, definitely not FET. However, I'm almost certain that it is a Nissan Comp piece, Ã la BRE 240Z. wickiewicked240z
I measured the length and the top part of the runners is 4 3/4" and the bottom is 4" since the flanges are at an angle.
Leon
Again, I'm 99.9% sure it's the Nissan Comp manifold, same as was used on the BRE car(s).
Tony D
It is NOT Mikuni. Looks like one of the generic JDM units, or possibly Nissan Comp (FET and most of the JDM stuff was copied from the original 165HP Nissan Triple Mikuni Setup originally designed for implementation on the top-of-the-line L24, with the SU's being 15HP less and on the base model.) wickiewicked240z
I think i finally found a picture of this manifold looks like Leon was correct. Is this a rare manifold?
Tony D
A 1958 Borgward Station Wagon is "Rare".... Doesn't mean it's worth anything to anybody that doesn't need it or want it. I would say 'No'...
wickiewicked240z
Just asking if it was rare cause there are not many pictures of this manifold. The picture I posted was the only one I could find on google.

Tony D
Yerp, the JDM Stuff is all very similar. Tomei is currently selling a nice kit!
wickiewicked240z
Just need to piece together a throttle linkage since I don't think the Weber universal one will work.

Leon
Nice, I didn't know the JDM stuff was so similar to the Nissan Comp manifold.
rayaapp2
Same one Kameari Sells as well. Pretty generic JDM.
