socorob
They are big for 245s. I can still burn them off at will in 1st and 2nd. I actually took the car out on the hwy today. Next time you come over it will be road ready and we can take a ride.
socorob
And the vintage air works well, blows really cold. Only problem I have is I think I tried to run the drain hose too long and too up and down so the condensation leaks on the floor. Y'all know I don't like to drill new holes, but I think I won't have a choice.
socorob
Got tired of my AC knobs hanging by the wires, so finished up the vent panel. I also added LEDs for brake level/ebrake, check engine light and cruise control (which I haven't finished booking up yet).

JoeK
You're gonna put 2 Saturn steering wheels in your Z? Or are those electric power steering motors?
socorob
I'm going to try to put electric power steering from a Saturn in my z. I picked a 2nd one up for my friends Z. They were $45 each out the door. People have been using these on mustangs in falcon some, and they said they work well.
socorob
It's painted! Ford ingot silver. I can't wait to be able to drive this thing again.
Nelsonian
Love the color choice as that is exactly what I have been planning on using when the day comes for the paint. Looks fantastic! Show more pics when you can.
socorob
Thanks. I wanted to use a factory color for ease of matching later. I looked closely at every silver car I saw for a couple months and to me this was the most silver of the silvers on newer cars.
Nelsonian
I agree that this is the most brilliant shining silver in all types of weather. I am torn between this and a more darker, titanium silver (07' Subaru Urban Grey). It sucks sometimes being border line anal retentive/ detail freak with things of this nature. Anyways, Looks fantastic, look forward to seeing more pics in the sunlight.
socorob
Not in sunlight since it was raining. But untaped. Still needs to be buffed.
socorob
I finally got a windshield and had the car buffed. Now to put it back together and start driving this thing again. The light at the end of the 2 year tunnel is finally in front of me.
