Chris83zxt
Has anyone had a bad experience running e85 with the Walbro? Good experience? I've been planning my fuel system upgrade and I've came to the conclusion that the 255lph is just enough of a pump for my goals and it's long been established as one of the best (from a price/performance perspective) aftermarket pumps. Also, will I experience any badness running e85 through the stock feed and return fuel hard lines?
skirkland1980
E85 is very corrosive. Everything that the fuel comes in contact with will need to be compatible with e85. Neither the walbro nor the stock equipment will hold up.
Tony D
AEM has some E85 compatible pumps available.
Sparky
Walbro had a E85 rated 255 available some time ago but it's been years since I looked into it.
MikerZ
I actually used to run e85 on my evo with a regular 255 and never had problems. Now as for the fuel lines, you will need to upgrade those in the Z.
