NCchris
Making a right turn into my work last Saturday and this guy in a truck clips me as I was almost off the blacktop! Says he never saw me. Well I believe him, he never hit the brakes until after the collision! Doesn't take much to total an old car. 1993 Z32 Slicktop, NA. No dents, bangs, or defects in the paint, body or interior, prior to collision. I didn't even drive it everyday! RIP! chris
Onion
What makes it totaled? Seems just cosmetic if I'm honest. RIP, always sad to lose a car. I still miss my Mustang, some idiot plowed into my driver door at 35 mph.
Domzs
Yeah . It doesn't look bad enough to be totaled .
BluDestiny
Hatch isn't lining up, and that's a difficult part to get back to normal. Z32's don't really hold value well, so that's probably why it's totaled. Sucks that it was a slicktop. Are you planning on parting it out or swapping parts to a new shell? PLATA
Z's , ZX's or any relative, regardless of year has no value to the insurance companies. That is why they created agreed value in order to insure these toys , a good thing to have Edited October 6, 2013 by PLATA
tecreatta
Seems like an easy fix to me. Why total for such low damage?
PLATA
^^^ have you seen the values on Z32's, it is a shame on a fairly nice GT car

NCchris
Well, now it isn't totaled! Insurance lady just called and said they had decided to repair! I am so happy, no salvage title. I don't know what happened, guess the value of my car was higher than the adjuster thought.
rturbo 930
Yeah . It doesn't look bad enough to be totaled . My BMW (1988) was totaled for similar damage. Cars that old are worth so little that just about anything will total them. But I agree - that can definitely be fixed.
