ancientz
I'm disappointed. I bought hank oak vents tires and the suck SUCK... In the rain or even on damp days. I have 15x7 grid v rims right now. I want a tire that meant for street and will stay on the ground in a corner without worrying. Any advice would be great. ancientz
This is supposed to be a joke right? No it wasn't I never noticed the auto correct messed it up. I bought hankook ventus tires and they have no wet traction.
PLATA
Rear drive cars do "SUCK'' in wet pavement, so proper techniques in wet driving are a must and proper tires are just one component FWIW
ancientz
I realize I'm no racer by anymeans. I'm just trying to find a good tire for rain since I live in NW Washington. I thought about toyo proxys R1R or Kumho W710 are there any tires like these that would help alot?
BluDestiny
Did you get the rs3's? And you're looking for a performance tire that's good in the wet?
JMortensen
I have 195/50/15 R1R's on my Miata and when it rains I go from about 2/3rds down the time sheet up to about top 1/3rd. They kick ass in the rain.

I like the Rs3 but they only come in a R16 I'm regretting ordering the 15x7 rims and not 15x7 or 16x8.
m1ghtymaxXx
+1 for R1R's. That's what we run on our Targa Newfoundland Rally car, a tarmac rally through one of the wettest places in the world (raced through hurricanes 2 years in a row until last year)

JMortensen
Yes, they slip in the wet (and the dry).
