I looking at a r200 LSD that the guy claims is off of a 1986 300zx--from all my research they only made the LSD from late 1987-1989. I am trying to find out if this guy mistook the year and I really have a genuine 87-89 LSD I could buy on the cheap, unfortunately I am not in the area where he lives so I can't check it out my self I only have pictures as references Could help me properly identify this. NewZed Posted January 31, 2015 Share Posted January 31, 2015 (edited) It says "VISCOUS LSD" on the orange sticker. And it's obviously a short nose. Looks like cheap on the cheap. I think that later 300ZX's, like 1990 on, came with short noses. Still a common, inexpensive diff that is not a bolt-in for a Z.
