Hypertek
I dont like those screw covers, doesn't pull off an authentic zg look imo. Mostly done here in America. Heres what im doing, as recommended by a friend http://www.ebay.com/itm/25-1-4-20-Blind-Rivet-Nut-Rivnut-Steel-LFK-/141582724035? http://www.ebay.com/itm/400096581473?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.com/itm/360826490698?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.com/itm/131196728909?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Heres how they look on his car https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfp1/v/t1.0-9/10953970_10152993544101023_8557634897598021564_n.jpg?oh=7a3e6a21a5eae3eb2db8fe0f34df09be&oe=55BDFAA8
psdenno
Harbor Freight for the nutserts and installation tool. Ace Hardware for the Allen Head screws. Good prices in both places when I bought mine. Dennis
HS30-H
'Factory Correct' for the HS30-H model 'Fairlady 240ZG' model's overfender attachment was wide-headed Pop rivets.... Edited March 20, 2015 by HS30-H
makaofox
I brought what hypertek suggested months ago and have been happy ever since. Initially years ago I did rivets but that was a huge hassle if I had to remove my flares. However with nut inserts it makes life easier. Naptown Dave
I was just looking at nutsert on McMaster Carr. it looks like $7 for aluminum nutserts and $6 for black oxide coated stainless button head Allen screws. That is for 25 of each. They ship crazy fast too. Edited March 22, 2015 by Naptown Dave
Tony D
If nobody has thought of this yet, a proper pop-rivet is easily-enough affixed to a stainless screw with the end ground for wrenching flats, and a screw slot cut with a hacksaw on the same end perpendicular to the wrenching flats. This allows you to screw the screw in from the backside through the nutzerts using a gun smithing screwdriver, with the wrenching flats used for final torquing. Same as you take 'tamper proof' license plates with tax stamps out and put them back in after the body work is done. Not that I ever did that kind of thing...that would be illegal. But not on ZG Flares.
RebekahsZ
I'm doing fine with sheetmetal screws after a year. The problem I see with nutserts is the huge hole you have to drill into the fender. And the holes on these flares don't line up brand-to-brand. So, if you bust a flare that has been discontinued,, you got a bunch of big holes in the wrong place. Lots easier to fix a smaller hole.... Naptown Dave
When I got my car it already had huge holes in the wrong places. Mostly the floor, mostly.

torqen2k1
I just ordered the same ones ^^^^ as hyptertek did a few days ago. They were under $300 shipped to the states. I will be looking forward for a nice mounting kit of some sort. Darek
Tony D
Why would you repair the fender and not the FRP Piece to fit your existing bolt pattern. The flats are there and that big for a reason.
