cooperma
If so, what size tap and what A&N fittings should I get? This is for an LS3 going into a 71 240z I would like to us A&N fitting back to the firewall Thanks, Mark Edited November 10, 2015 by cooperma
Mike Mileski
I think, once you pull out the stock nipples, you can tap one for 3/8" NPT and the other for 1/2" NPT and then use whatever size of AN fitting you want. Mike Mileski Tucson, AZ You're Correctomundo, Mike, I yanked the stock nipples and tapped for a 3/8" and 1/2" NPT plugs. I ended up having to buy an Edelbrock water pump, and it came threaded (female) in the same sizes. Steve
Stock Car Mafia
I like the way those turned out and it looks cleaner than just capping them, or running a hose from each end.
stony
I'm looking at weld in fittings for the radiator supply and return. anyone ever try to remove the pipe in the top of the water pump and weld in say a -16 fitting ?
nathaninwa
For clearance reasons, I welded up the side ports and welded on -8 fittings to the top of the pump but still down by the thermostat. I was able to tuck the coolant lines by the injectors that way For the bigger -16 fitting, I just used a big pile wrench while on the engine stand and twisted it up and out for a buddy of mine
Mike Mileski
Stony, several places sell press-in -20 AN replacements for LS water pumps. Here is a pic from CBM Motorsports who sell them on ebay. Mike Mileski Tucson, AZ

stony
I used -16 for the RB setup and had not issues with cooling. will this size not work with the truck motor?
