ihiryu
Hey fellas. Pretty soon the R32 is gonna go in for paint finally. I'm looking to find a burgundy that's like an OEM color. Doesn't have to be an OEM Nissan color, just an OEM color in general. That way down the road, if something happens, I can get the paint matched easily. Any suggestions? seattlejester
The Acura burgundy is quite nice, has quite a bit of pearl in it so it pops under certain light.
ktm
Your best bet is to Google Burdundy OEM paint colors and chose from there. BMW has some nice ones, as does Lexus/Toyota, Acura, etc, though you will need the model year as well. Also expand your color palette. What you call burgundy, another OEM may call it a shade of red like Garnet Red.
Villeman
Definitely look into the very new Land Rover and Skoda colors. Especially the new LR Burgundy is cool (montalcino red)

I typed in Garnet Red into Bing and this is what I got. I think this might be the color.
Arif
I was looking at the Lexus Matador red. It looks amazing in person.
JavelinZ
I can't believe no one suggested the factory r32 color. Takumi's car is a perfrect example. https://www.instagram.com/takumi_403/
Evlevo
The bodyshop or paint supplier should have paint decks. Each code should be on the back. often with the manufacturer name as well. Long as you have that code any shop should be able to match it.
ihiryu
Ohh, that is nice. I actually ended up going Red Basque Pearl II that SeattleJester recommended.

ihiryu
All thanks to you, I would have never thought about that color unless you recommended it. I took my wife to a honda dealer and showed her the color, and she loved it. At night, it almost looks black, and when the light hits it you get a nice reddish orange color. Absolutely love it. seattlejester
That looks really good, the earlier 2000ish burgundy was a bit too purple, but the 2010ish and on looked really nice. Matches the wheels real nice too!
