240sx transmission swap - shifter 2" further back? Is it annoying?

Hi,

 

I am looking into the 240sx swap, it seems like the shifter will be 2" further back?

 

That sounds like a really annoying shifting position? Or does it work ok?

 

It's for my 280zx chumpcar.

Probably depends on seat position and how long your arms are.

Thanks! Doesn't look to bad. I wonder if I can build a S shaped shifter or if that gets weird.

In my 260 it puts the shifter right in the middle of the hole.
