seattlejester
...oh no. I want to say I looked up the one you posted, but I can't verify to check. A bussman 232 electronic flasher is what I ordered. https://www.amazon.com/BUSSMANN-NO-232-Heavy-Duty-Electronic-Terminals/dp/B0086GUMIU Looking up the details, it looks like it may not be LED compatible. https://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performance-Products/555/11107/10002/-1 This Jegs 11107 looks like it might be what I need to make it work. Miles
I bought my electronic flasher at Oreily autoparts. Plugs into stock plug and has a ground wire you attach under any nearby screw/bolt. Hotronics sells one with addjustable flash rate: http://hotronicsproducts.com/product_info.php?products_id=5&osCsid=88d51f29a4f6f034d7797b1ecbe8d9f6#.WuTBWbmWypo Edited April 28, 2018 by Miles
jhm
SJ, that's a bummer....sorry to hear that it didn't work for you. I went back and checked my flasher unit, and I'm pretty sure it's the same one you bought from Amazon. It's been working fine for almost a year now. Weird. The good news is that these are obviously becoming more popular, cheaper, and more readily available. Maybe check one out like Miles is running. Sorry again the unit from Amazon didn't work for you. seattlejester
No worries, I should have looked a bit more into it. Maybe the bulb tech has gotten better and don't use as much resistance or something of that nature. I have it in my cart for my next order for jegs, https://www.jegs.com/p/JEGS-Performance-Products/JEGS-LED-Turn-Signal-Flashers/2872412/10002/-1 As of now running two normal flashers doesn't bother me in the least, having no signals at night was a much bigger concern.
