Vaportrail
I have rebuilt the r200 from 280zx and installed what I thought was the correct Quaife ATB carrier. Apparently not, it requires 29 spline equal length output shafts. Can anyone tell me which output shafts are correct for this carrier? Thanks Tony
jonbill
Have you tried it? I think the Quaife note on equal length shafts is for shortnose r200 or just wrong. My original shafts fitted into my Quaife just fine.

It's not possible that it requires equal length shafts. You might have eyeballed it and decided that was the case, or somebody told you that, but that's not how they work. Vaportrail
Hey, Thanks for replying. Yep your correct. It was a QDF7L and the box said for use with equal length shafts. I can only assume they mean one of the CV axle styles used in 300zx differentials. My unequal length shafts fit fine.
JMortensen
Just make sure they clip in. That's the important bit.
