Mike kZ
My wife had a flat yesterday, she calls me on my cell and tells me that there is a wrench sticking out of the tire! A wrench!? I then think it must be a broken wrench and the short jagged side went in the tire. A Bell South man changed her tire and she came home. This is what I saw: Then I started to pull it out: And pulled: And this is what came out! It went in the tire round side first! How did that happen? Here's the hole: By the way, I now have a Craftsmen 10 mm wrench!
Z-Gad
That's a heck of a way to gather tools!!
denny411
I`d say that`s the most expensive 10mm wrench I`ve ever seen.
Tim240z
Got you beat by 4mm dude! I once pulled a 14mm wrench from the rear tire before, open end in the tire!! I bet that was the right rear tire huh? Tim

Mikelly
Damn, Now I know where my 10mm went... No more blaming the kid for misplacing it! Mike
Guest Your Car is Slow
Man..a buddy works for allied tire here in jax...they have a bigoll bucket full of crap they have pulled out of tires there at the store. I was amazed at some of the stuff that can puncture a tire given enough velocity.
blueovalz
probably got kicked up by the front tire, and landed just perfect for an easy penetration into the rear tire. tooooo wierd! I guess a patch is out of the question

Sumo
Just make sure you keep an eye on the tire, it might de-ply in the future because the steel belts may have been compromised. You'll eventually feel the car shaking....kinda like doing the lambada on the road. Then you can actually see or feel the tire have a slight S curve. Tim240z
yeah I would put that tire as a spare and put the spare or a new tire on the car. The safety factor is not worth the $100 bucks you're saving. Tim
jt1
I had a flat one day and what came out of the tire was.....a spark plug! The amazing thing was the plug still looked pretty good, probably good enough to run. John
Guest Anonymous
If that is a craftsman wrench, may be that life time warrenty will extend to the tire.
DavyZ
Same thing happened to my tire, only with a pair of pliers, no joke. It ruins the tire as far performance driving goes, although I used about FOUR of those goop covered fix-a-flat rope thingies to plug that hole. Not smart, but I was a poor college kid back then. Guest bang847
Is this a good time to mention that i am missing a 12mm/14mm combo wrench?
Georgia Flash
I once had a large piece of gravel get stuck between the treads on one of my front tires. I heard thump thump thump thump and stopped to see it wedge between the tread. Pulled it out and presto! All the air in the tire came out with it! Guest Anonymous
I once picked up one of those pick/hammers that welders or muffler shops sometimes have -- the kind with the springshaped steel handles. Not only did it trash my tire, but it went around the wheel well a couple of times, the handle beating the metal as it went. Very expensive pick.
