She is going to a freinds house and getting body work and paint done sometime soon. Thats not to mention i have lots of work to do to it when i get her back. zero Posted November 30, 2003 Share Posted November 30, 2003 hmmm, parts i have and need to install: tokiko struts, steering rack, brake wheel cylinders, horn, blower, radio. parts i need to buy to get car on road: tires, bushings, clutch. things i plan to get done before driving the car extensively: replace floors and frame rails(ugh), weld in roll cage, do bodywork, paint car, get bigger brakes, straighten bumper, make car waterproof, replace cheap carpet with original leather(vinyl?), get h4's. do i qualify, and if so can i join? z-REX Posted November 30, 2003 Share Posted November 30, 2003 yeah, that works... link's above. my list... remove old engine prep/paint engine bay rebuild 350 find a camaro t5 in good shape get jtr kit, install 350+t5 fuel system, driveshaft, differential, shafts...... upgrade brakes, suspension, viagra shot replace gutted interior with something that looks like something bodywork (surface rust+paint prep+yz flares+airdam+++++) a bunch of little things i probably left out dammmmmn. at least my frame's solid! When I loose patience with making zoom noises in the car late at night when the wifes asleep, I just think of Petes 10-year build. Remove front suspension-Done Remove front clip-Done Remove engine and tranny-Done Install: Coilovers poly bushing set fiberglass tilt front clip flares air dam Dash pad seats shave side markers fab rear facia Rebuild engine Install EFI Install ford 8.8 rear end or Quafie in original R200 And a bunch of smaller stuff.
