Phyte
Just won a complete L28et off ebay for $153!!!! Only thing wrong is the turbo.. It went so low because it was pickup only in the Kansas City area. The turbo is the only thing thats wrong with the motor, which doesn't matter because its getting a T03/04 man I'm pumped! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2456849009 Phyte

Phyte
Deal keeps getting better! I told him I'd give him an even $200 if he threw in the 5 speed, shifter and drive shaft he's got and he said yes! No more auto tranny for me! He just wants to get the stuff outta his garage so he can start parking his grand national in.. fun stuff. Phyte

Phantom
Phyte - I thought you were going the LT1 route? Change of plans? Definitely a nice score any way you look at it though.
Guest Nic-Rebel450CA
SCORE! For that price, I'd even think about doing a L28ET! Cant wait for some updates! wish l28et's were that easy to get over here in the land of oz. I wonder how much it would cost for someone to take one apart and ship it
SleeperZ
Nice deal, ranks with my score of an L28ET from a local scrapyard for $150 with a bad turbo. I also got a great deal on a T5 with a couple flywheels and a used Stage4 clutch for $50 - friend of mine went to automatic.

Ya I changed my mind. I've never had a turbo motor, and I thought now would be a good time to start. Specially after this deal! I think I'll start out by rebuilding this motor with the stock turbo, and just upping the boost. Get the motor in and everything working, then mod it after learning to drive it properly. I still got interior and paint to do so this will help that process out tremendously! Phyte
fl327
Thats a good deal. My biggest jumpshot was the running donor for 160.00 and the complete L28et spare engine with accessories sensors harness and turbo at Pick N Pull's 69.99 complete engine day! I would pay 150 for any L28et, blown to bits doesnt matter, its a good price for a good engine.
