Guest Anubis
The place I work for can get some black non labled R1 seats that with the sliders fit perfect into the Z. We can get both seats and sliders for I think it was $450 shipped to your door. The seats are very comfortable (to me anyways) easy to get in and they have the adjustable back. I can also get you pics if need. If your intrested contact me. Steve omega_fire69@hotmail.com
Dan Juday
Starion/Conquest seats are nice. They fit the Z well and adjust manually many different ways including headrest angle, lumbar, side bolsters, and thigh support height. Interesting to look at too. More of a modular look than the typical car seat.
THUNDERZ
Went to the JY today and saw some really nice Talon seats...I think they were out of a 93...Measurements look good...think I might buy them
Garrett76Zt
I've always liked the seats from some of the z31 turbo's. I got a set from an 86 turbo. Very comfortable for road trips and I love the side bolsters, they really hold you in. Mine are black and appropriatley read "Turbo" across each seat! Guest ZmeFly
Till it came in the garage yesterday. The seats from a 87-89 Nissan Pulsar NX. Very comfortable, great side bolsters and look well too. I think they would be a good addition to the Z seat line.
Brad-ManQ45
Do the Z31 seats have the lumbar plate or an air bladder. I had an '85 Conquest and got rear-ended and the plate type of lubar support did a number on my lower back. I personally will NEVER have a seat with this type of lumbar support again... majik16106
i LOVE my corbeau Gt-s seats. Some cool seats to check out, pre 92 Supra seats, both the second and third gen supras have some badass comfy seats.

slownrusty
Z31 seats have the air bladder. Here is my old RWD Supercharged Corolla GT-S (AE86) with 1986 Supra seats, which by the way were voted the best factory seat in any available car by Car and Driver back then. These seats are considered orthopedic and you can inflate the air bladder on your spinal chord and adjust it for your lower, middle and upper back - sexxxy!!: Here are set of '86 Z31 Turbo seats in my '83 ZXT: Regards- Yasin
Guest bastaad525
Bastaad-The least you'll weed is just a socket/wrench to turn the bolts out. Or a hex wrench. The Eclipse seats just had 4 bolts. There might be wires' date=' but the tools at the ends of your fingers should work on that. [/quote'] yeah to get the seats out but I'm talking about, what kind of tools necessary to adapt seats from a different car to bolt into my 240. I"m assuming there is some cutting and welding that will need to be done? Are there any "bolt in" seats from another car?
THUNDERZ
Just bought a set out of a 91 eclipse...Nice seats...a little to high but there is room to lower seat support with out too much cutting. I am 6ft. too. Nice adjusments and side support.
THUNDERZ
Who else has installed eclipse seats? I would like to know how they approached it

majik16106
3rd gen rx-7 seats, if you can find the ones with the black cross hatch cloth, also the new Celica GTS has something similiar, VERY cool.
THUNDERZ
I think I might take the eclipse seats back...I measured them before I bought them but didnt take into consideration the thickness of the upright portion of the seat. They dont leave any room to go back and I would have to cut into the mounts on the floor to get them low enough. My fault eventhough a couple people suggested them for the Z. AAAARRRGGGHHH!!! TomoHawk
I use the eclipse seats... They are kinda wide and no side support, but they work fine and have a very firm seat cusion.
THUNDERZ
the eclips eseats I had were narrow with side suppurt and didnt fit. I am talking a bout a 260z of course. 8)
Guest comeandzpa
As I walk to class I tend to look at car seats. None really stood out till the other day, when I saw a 2000/2001 Hyundai Tiburon. Nice looking seats. Real nice bolstering, and theres probably a few in the junkyards somewhere. john kosmatka
I just picked up a set of 95 celica GT seats for free, they are very nice and look like they should fit just fine. Good bolstering and they are very confortable.

I even said to her "Don't be surprised if you come out one day and your seats are gone!!"
